I have the exact same issue on my Nothing Phone 3a. I fell in love with Nothing for their unusual and unique style that has always been consistent throughout the phone. But in my opinion, the glass panel isn’t the best solution, especially since it’s the only element of its kind in the system. That’s exactly what makes it so bad — it should either be used in many places or not be there at all. I don’t like the glass style. Of course, I got used to it after a month, but I’d still be glad to see the old buttons back. I hope they improve this in NOS 5.0 and add a theme choice, something like: ‘Classic Interface’ / ‘With Transparency’.
