Hi Nothing team and community members,
I’ve been a proud user of the Nothing Phone (2) since its launch, and I absolutely love the hardware, the design philosophy, and the unique software experience.
With the recent rollout of Nothing OS 5.0, I saw the incredible new features—like the redesigned Quick Settings, Geist typography refinements, and updated UI layouts. However, I was disheartened to see that the Phone (2) is currently designated as reaching its major OS support window.
The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor inside the Phone (2) is still a very capable chipset, and many loyal users in the community chose this flagship device believing it would continue to receive major UI and platform refreshes for a bit longer.
Even if certain hardware-heavy features have strict limitations, bringing the core Nothing OS 5.0 interface, visual design language, and quality-of-life updates to the Phone (2) would mean a lot to the user base that helped establish the brand.
Please consider extending major software support or releasing a scaled version of Nothing OS 5.0 for the Phone (2). We want to stay part of the Nothing journey!
Thank you for listening to community feedback.
