hexagonal707x Already compromised support years of the phone for it being a startup, now you wanna compromise the updates in the support time? Nah I know worth of my money which I earned.
Even OnePlus when starting up had same roll out strategy as Samsung.

The one thing i hate about this brand..Is they just focus on their latest phone..And treat even their flagship customers like bs..Like Your flagship should also get this Update before or atleast at the same time as your mid-range phone..

Phone n everything is cool but rolling out update is very slow…nothing should rolled out updates as per particular time like end of the month atleast our security patch is January and here we are in march it dosent fit

Dear Nothing team,

Please take into consideration doubling or tripling the effort to keep your devices up-to-date in terms of at least security updates.

We as fans know that you are doing your best, but when the big competition can update their flagship devices regularly (S24 series has recently got March security patch on March 1st!) it looks like even though you have only three phones released you don’t really have it worked out in which order to release updates.

Releasing new features for the newest (but the cheapest device) looks bad and your flagship owners are understandably mad (and January security patch in the middle of March for NP2 is a not-so funny joke).

Especially after Nothing Chats fiasco, you should be on your toes to prove to people that you care about the security of your OS.

If that continues to be the case, me and many others who have switched from iOS or Google/Samsung will ditch you and choose more secure competition.

MayankSingh_mFF9znREeC Then go ahead and buy yourself a Pixel or Samsung who is stopping you from purchasing them? why buy a Nothing phone then

sw000nda totally agree with you. Paying almost the double price and still no update and February security patch in mid-march. hexagonal707 u know how difficult it is to sell and purchase a new device? This is sad reality that we especially phone 2 user paid almost double the money.

It’s just a simple solutions. Don’t name updates for new phone or minor with fixing bugs as a another 2.5.3, but 2.5.2.1 or 2.5.2a

@Derren will camera enhancement exist in phone 2’s 2.5.3 update? Because today nothing phone 1 gets 2.5.3 update and there is no camera related improvement in it thats why i m concerned about phone 2? Can u please lighten this thing i m confused that camera enhancement is only for phone 2a or phone 2 also?

      well that’s a big fail… Should be on phone 2 first….

How come you guys push this update first on 2a instead of phone 2 .

We pay extra bucks that’s why it is our right to experience the latest software update first.

Listen to me ….just roll it now.

All the arguments on supporting update first to 2A seems totally invalid now, as NP1 got the update as well.

As already mentioned I assume that the delay in the release of NOS 2.5.3 for NP2 is due to an accurate bugfix, personally a delay of a week in the release of an update does not seem so scandalous to me (considering that Nothing is still a startup and that the The update does not fix any critical stability or security issues. The fact that NOS 2.5.3 has been released for NP1 (with a much more limited changelog) makes me think that within a couple of days it will also be released for NP2.

Hopefully with an excellent bugfix, like for NP2a

hexagonal707x I have Phone 2, and I have no problem waiting for the update to reach it. As you rightly say, it’s still a good phone and the update will only enhance it. But I am a little peeved that no one from Nothing has come on here to explain what is happening and their position re the update schedule.
