So I’m using CMF buds since couple of days. It’s a decent earbuds but there are few issues with it.

Issue- 1

The build quality isn’t solid, the top part of the case already shakes and creaks as there is a small gap near the hinge. Not only the case, but also the rotating lanyard holder also has a slightly play vertically. Imagine your new buds case is already shaking within a day of usage.

Issue- 2

When listening to some content, the buds randomly changes modes between Transparancy, ANC or Normal Mode, also auto-pauses the content out of no where even while I don’t interact with it. Also while this being the case, sometimes only one side earbuds will change modes when I try to change it. Probably this is a bug and can be fixed over an update, but it’s still annoying.

The auto-pausing issue is quite evident. For a person who uses the earbuds for long stretches, it gets quite irritating. Carl if you’re reading this, it needs to get adressed asap.

I can say the issue two is a real thing. I don’t even like how inconsistent it became over time.

    a month later

I am also facing the same issue

It auto-pauses and switches between anc and tranparency

    14 days later

Right bud gets disconnected for every 5 mins even after tried resetting

HarshithKJ I don’t find these kind of issues in my unit… I m using it quiet long and it’s always in use while my daily metro travel to my office and back to home….

NitinTewatiya It is: Use them both to play music. Open the Nothing App (showing the Buds connected). As soon as you take one of them out of your ear, the playback not just stops, but the ANC mode gets changed in the App. Without the notifying beep, so. I can´t really verify if the mode is just displayed to be changed or is actually changed. Taking out the right bud toggles between ANC off and transparency mode. Left bud toggles between ANC on and ANC off. Hope someone of you reported that to the CMF support yet (how else could it be solved).
