NothingOS 2.5.3 update is out for both Phone (1) and Phone (2a) but not for Phone (2), isn’t that weird.
I’m badly waiting for it as the January update has messed up the thermals and battery life. The SoT right now is about an hour less than what I used to recieve.
Hope the team is working on fixing these issues and some camera improvements??
I hope they make the wait worth it.

I have a wild guess. They might be preparing to release Nothing OS 3 on Phone 2.
MadOne No, they wouldn’t give that to the Phone 2 first, after they just released the 2a.
From my point of view there are 2 possibilities:
A) The smartphones are built on different platforms and the developers for the Phone 2 still have a few things to do.
B) The Phone 2a is the latest from Nothing. Most people probably have the Phone 1 and have complained that they always have to wait so long for the updates. Which is why Nothing may have decided to give them the update earlier.

For a moment I thought this is the official announcement of NOS 2.5.3. 
Aditya My man i was about to post it. I’m fed up with the thermals and bb. Also for me sometimes there is a slight stuttering while pulling down the QS. And as the flagship of the brand, they should give all the preference they had given to Phone (2a) to Phone (2) too on the camera department.
I like the brand nothing and also the nothing team members but one thing i dont like is that they dont communicate regarding updates they just randomly rolled out and they dont answer who asks for updates
Yes after the January update there are some issues in thermals and battery life to hope they fix it as soon as possible.

When you start talking, it takes sometime Such that it breaks in beginning of the conversation, people on other side can’t able hear you properly
Found this issue on phone 1 and phone 2
Even the ring, vibrate widget is not present on the nothing phone 2, the other two phones have it..and they call the phone 2 as their flagship offering
It will come eventually 
the team was all in on the release of phone (2a) so it’s no surprise that the update is a bit late. Don’t worry, they always have been very consistent with update.
