User_sAXQvzkCC6 Hmm, I didn’t know that, thanks for the clarification. Yes, delayed updates don’t bother me either, I have been a OnePlus user and EU based at that, which makes for one long waiting game for every update. But I could live with that perfectly fine, it was the lack of communication that drove me away. And reading all this, it doesn’t seem to be any better here… That kind of behaviour from them is indeed bad, and is of course a no-go for any company really.
NothingOS 2.5.3 update delay for Phone (2)
Stringfellow_hawke Yes, communication is important, especially when problems arise
User_sAXQvzkCC6 Why should they communicate with you? You already bought phone 2. They are now busy selling Phone 2a.
User_sAXQvzkCC6 Yup, fully agree.
Mates its all about freaking priority phone 2a is priority now but this is completely wrong they should atleast discuss about it not just warn us they should priorotize phone 2 which is the masterpiece the flagship.
TejasMaisuriya I will no longer support Nothing. Now Nothing has three mobile phones but none of them can provide normal services. I think they should not develop new products. Nothing is a new existence in the mobile phone industry, but their attitude makes me no longer support it. Support them, even if you don’t care about your own flagship phone, what else do you expect?
We need to take serious concern about phone 2 update, Nothing team members are arrogant no reply about phone 2 updates, details.
RavishKumar how to do it? What to do? I have twitted on x also but no response
Response like our next any tech products not belongs to Nothing.
TejasMaisuriya For real, I don’t mind the delays, but they should at least communicate with us what’s going on behind the scenes and not just complete silence, its getting overshadowed by the 2a community edition
If Tim Cook was viewing this thread then he’d be like, ’These dodos here having a meltdown because they did not get the bi monthly security patch and it’s not even the end of 2nd month !!'. …
If Nothing wa I’m already looking forward to the next phone being from Samsung, I hope Samsung employees won’t be so arrogant anymorents
It’s easy to understand why people are pissed off. When companies like Samsung have dozens of phones and still push updates, it’s reasonable for them to expect timely updates from a brand that marketed itself on its Software prowess.
Tatsuya i do mind delays but yes they should communicate with us but they are avoiding us

I might be wrong, but Nothing may have been releasing updates without notification. My Phone 2 had an issue with image stabilisation. When you swung the camera from side to side, the image wobbled for a while before settling. That is no longer the case. Also My phone now has the Wallpaper Studio(AI) installed, noticed it yesterday, even though I haven’t actually updated the phone or OS for at least 3 weeks, and I’m still on 2.5.2.So to all those bitching about not getting the latest features, they seem to be on the way, just without a fanfare of trumpets.1 final thought. When you bought your Phone 2, it came with a certain set of functionalities that I assume you were happy with or you wouldn’t have handed over your hard earned. Now you’re getting gobby because you see “lesser” phones getting updates before yours. Is your phone running any worse than when you purchased it because you haven’t had the latest updates? If your phone develops a fault that an update can fix, then clamour for it, and rightly so,but don’t whine just because you haven’t got the latest stuff and another model has.
.
User_sAXQvzkCC6 Brother, look, before buying any phone, if you want to know its reality, visit the brand’s page, community, or forum.
You’ll find the truth there. It’s better to go to their community instead of blindly saying “Samsung”, as there are also plenty of similar bugs there.
PSYCHO So which other brands will rudely criticize and ignore you when they raise questions?

Nothingnew Oh, absolutely,
(Slow clap) For another gymnastics of this forum ,Let’s all just blissfully embrace ignorance and blindly endorse whatever is clearly incorrect. ….
Brilliance, sheer brilliance!
It’s commendable that you’ve noticed improvements in your Phone 2 without explicit notifications.
However, the lack of formal communication about updates raises concerns about transparency and user awareness.
While it’s positive that your device’s performance has improved, consistency in update notifications ensures users are informed and can benefit from advancements promptly.
Additionally, timely updates are crucial for security patches and feature enhancements, contributing to a satisfying user experience….
User_sAXQvzkCC6 Oh, pardon my ignorance!
I didn’t realize I needed a PhD in deciphering hieroglyphics just to comprehend your message.
Nothingnew nice case. Where you got this?
