Vinnnyyy If they are taking this much time to push an update for Phone 2 then it means that they have acknowledged that this phone has a lot of shortcomings which need to be overcome by releasing a mega update of sorts. If they don’t solve the issues and bring new features(not widgets) with the upcoming update then it would be safe to conclude that they don’t care about user feedback and what users actually want. But till that happens, i’d like to keep my fingers crossed and hope for the best.

      Same here, after Jan update, battery is degraded to less SOT , camera is having glitches sometimes. Need update now on faster basis.

      prabhuji_2008 I think it will be updated directly to 9.0.0, which will have better functions. Before I throw away the phone2, phone2 users please stay tuned.

        Vinnnyyy When Phone 2 came, they gave all their focus on it and Phone 1 users then complained as they were suffering from unresolved bugs. Now Phone 2a has come and all their focus is on it and Phone 2 appears to be neglected. I agree, they should be more transparent about their update policy as they’ve said in the past that transparency is their primary motto, as is evident from their phone designs.

          There is only one thing I’m waiting for with the next update: eSIM support. My fault was not reading the specs before buying… If I had been aware of it beforehand, I would have chosen another phone.

                I come straight to the point, I feel Nothing should change their strategy of releasing software updates, I feel right now releasing updates are a mess, In recent case Nothing Phone (2) hasn’t even received 1 update. Where as other phones have already got 2 updates.

                Okay I know Phone (2A) is new and should fix the bugs, optimize and all, I GET IT totally agreed on this point, right top priority should be phone (2A) as there are lot of things going on that front.

                But phone (2) should also get updates right it is a premium flagship right?

                Phone (1) users are getting updates okayy I am really happy with that.

                But what about Phone(2)?????

                Suggestion: Nothing should opt Iphone style updates where they get all the updates at the same time, I know it is DIfficult but Nothing can atleast do this:

                • Provide updates to the premium phones first ofcoure new products can get high priority if anything is wrong
                • Provides updates to all Category of phone at the same time, like all the phone (2) users should get the update at the same time, also I have seen many people not getting previous updates as well.
