First what’s the advantages of ("mini” phone)

They give you a break from all the distractions and screen time that come with larger smartphones.they keep things simple, they’re easy to carry around, they last longer without charging, they’re affordable, they help you stay focused, and they give you more privacy

The all new Phone (2a mini)

Phones in our generation is huge ranging 6.9 inch people find it hard to use some also want some smaller phone people buy the 12,13 mini it had the same function as the standard model But with Phone (2a mini) it can be better

*Phone design - From the aesthetic design of phone 2a, Phone (2a mini) will adapt it design but it doesn’t adapt the transparent back, from the fresh look of Phone (2a mini) it can have four different color ( Nature Green, Shadow Red and the nothing signature color white and black )

*Camera/Battery - since it is a Small phone and barely hard to fit a Battery i suggest putting a smaller battery (2,500mah) and the camera since the phone (2a) had a 50+50Mp it could adapt it also

*Screen/Specs- From the previous Phones, 12&13 it’s only a 60hrz it is pretty slow adding a 120hrz the phone (2a mini) could be compact for daily driver. Putting an Ai Features Phone mini would not just be aesthetic but also gonna be powerful colaborating with Google is the last resort for Ai stuff, SD 7+ would be much more powerful allowing a lot new features

Phone (2a mini) “It’s small but it’s not terrible" next big small step not just beautiful and majestic but also powerful Phone(2a mini)

    This is really awesome!

    I’m planning to participate in the hardware and wallpaper design process.

    I have a few questions though, hopefully someone answers them…

    Q.1 How and where to submit the designs?

    Q.2 Can we make a proper presentation? (I mean images and sketches of the hardware along with the written details of why we made certain design choices etc.)

    Q.3 Is there a certain age bracket? (I’m 17 but still wanna participate, irrespective of my design being selected or rejected.)

    Q.4 I am assuming AI generated wallpaper designs aren’t allowed(for obvious reasons.) but can the wallpapers have texts?

    I guess that’s all the questions, I literally joined this community minutes ago to participate in this revolutionary event. Nothing seems like a very promising and innovative company and it’ll be an unforgettable experience working for it’s community event.

      Natalie ✨ I want to know why nothing doesn’t make smartphone with smaller display like 5.5/5.75 inches display.it will be great if nothing starts making smaller size smartphone. I would also suggest to bring phones with 4k resolution super amoled display at attractive pricing. Also company should provide paid software & security upgrades for devices who’s offical free upgrades are over . Also new phone should be made keeping in mind it’s spare parts can be repaired and upgrade to new modes hardware specifications. Till date no mobile manufacturer have done this , if nothing does this i think people trust will increase , it will bring loyalty to nothing company, business will boost .

        Screen Size: 5.5 inch IDEAL { Uniform minimal bezels, under display fingerprint scanner, 1-30 / 1-60 / 1-90 / 1-120 Hz Screen Refresh Rate options, Low power consumption, Plz don’t exceed 5.9 inch in any case, 16:9 ratio }

        DESIGN: Sub 200gm, Minimalist design language. Uniform Square Boxy Design with transparent back nothing design. Can be little thick in order to compensate bigger battery and camera bumps.

        SPECS: Phone should be value for money, ideally around 35K INR { IMHO Price will play a crucial part in sales of this phone. Iphone mini failed because of poor battery & high price }.

                 PROCESSOR:  SD 8 gen 2, 8s gen 3, 8 gen 3

         STORAGE: 256 GB UFS 4 atleast

         RAM: 12 GB Lpddr 5x

        OS: Love Nothing OS, Stock android experience with option to completely disable/enable Google services anytime with single shortcut key in order to provide anonimity and battery saving.

          Would love to have option to enable/disable themes provided by nothing community witch changes screen wakep/screen lock animations and charging animations etc. Also bootloader unlocked after warranty.

          Hi, would it be possible to share the full briefing of the design intent for stage one ? As it was mentioned that this informations would be shared on tuesday 26th !

          Is there any limitations in terms of the phone size? I mean can we change the dimensions of it?

          The Nothing phone 2a Community edition didn’t permit us to change the physical geometry and features of the phone( for obvious reasons) So I am sharing the details of my design with you all. Here are the changes I proposed for designing my custom phone 2a
