They did mention in the behind-the-scenes video that they worked hard for the unboxing experience. Let’s see how nice it gets.
I don’t know how not adding charger in box is saving earth ? There will me more plastic pollution.. Because anyway I have to buy charger and which will have different packaging , courier wrapper bag…
Better we have option to choose “charger in box” or without while purchasing..

If someone needs something they go get it; that’s obvious. However, a lot of people no longer need a charging cable with their new smartphone – especially those who do not live alone – as they already have several charging cables laying around their household.
At this point I feel all phone manufacturers should hold off including charging cables, but without screwing over people that need one. Perhaps when ordering a phone the charging cable can be offered as an extra for a nominal amount, along with a message for why the cable is not included, gently dissuading people from ordering a cable they do not need.
I would love to get a 1.5m USB-C cable as well as a transparent fast charger with USB PD
I would also love a case made for the Glyph interface, or just a bumper that only goes around the edges, leaving the back and front exposed

sean (1) You are ignoring the fact that most phones use a proprietary charging solution (BBK, Samsung, Xiaomi, Sony, Huawei - all have their own way of fast charging, same goes for CPUs such as Qualcomm, Mediatek, Spreadtrum) wherein they fast charge with their own branded adapters and in some cases (OPOO, VIvo, Realme, Iqoo’s VOOC, Dash whatever) need a specific cable as well. Plus, most companies recommend that the product be charged using a charger and cable as per their specifications. Hence, there’s generally always a need to pick up a new charger and cable with the phone.
Moreover, the new iPhones and Galaxies started the trend of including type C to type C cables in the box. I wonder how many users already have a charger that has a USB-C port or other wall ports and PCs. It is a wasteful practice of selling more accessories for money while saving money from the actual product. As long as there’s not an option to get a charger and cable (if needed) complimentary with the purchase of a new device, it is a stupid trend, which we should try to oppose.
Not to mention that I’ve never had a wasted cable after all my phones came with a cable. Cables also break pretty often. So, there’s no issue having like 5 of them.
Same as most people ,just want the basics ( phone , long USBC , and charger if phone is not compatible with other fast chargers ) and maybe a discount voucher for future products or cases .

Huh so as per rumours, no charger in the box! If this is true then this sucks!
I hope Nothing adds an option just like how Xiaomi did with some of it’s phone where they had an option to get a free charger!
Anyone from Nothing reading this: Please don’t follow Samsung/Apple bs for this whole “saving the planet by not including charger”
sean (1) Like that Idea possibly one step further those of us that dont need Lead or charger we opt out and @changename.tech could ‘Gift’ it to others that do require it, That may also keep the price fair/similar for all.
