I bought the 2A 2 days ago, everything is beautiful. I only have 1 problem, google assistant doesn’t work with my voice. It works just by pressing the button, everything is enabled. I also repeated the voice mesh several times, rebooted etc..

PietroPesce_Mistak3_ Hey, have you tried going thought the voice setup so that it can recognise your own voice? This process is available in the Google app in settings.
Daniel yes…many times. the problem is that the microphone does not activate when I say “ok google”

I´ve received my 2a yesterday and so far its a great experience.
I was wondering why my favorite Tool Google Assistant doesn´t work as supposed to and now i´ve read that Google Assistant isn´t supported on the 2a which is a pitty.
Will it be supported with future updates?
Google Assistant is really essential for me. I can´t place any calls or navigate using Android Auto for xmpl. ^^

BastiFantasti Can you share more details with screenshot or recordings on what exactly doesn’t work for you? Iv’e been using Google Assistant with 2a without problems.
Ups! I guess the Glyph Interface isn´t supported by Google Assistant…. i´ve read this
i deactived Google Assistant as Standard App and reactivated …. i´ve also retrained the Voice Match Model
The Assistant doesn´t react on “Hey Google” or “OK Google”

What does it say? I don´t understand french….
Btw. the non working Google Assistant doesn´t seem to be a single case…. if you google the problem you can find other users reporting the same problem ^^

Ok so I found a lot of people having my same problem here. I’ve reset my NP2A and perform several attempts to activate “ehy google” command just loosing lot of time. Hope they will fix this problem with an update as soon as possible or I will send back this beautiful phone. Vocal assistant is very important, and I cannot risk a fine while driving. Soooo sad!!
Maurizio yes it’s a basic function on Android it shouldn’t be missing or forgotten.

At the moment I’m facing mic permissions on permission manager menu for google cannot be set on alway allow.
So maybe this is the cause of misfunction.
