I think a transparent really good ipad killer, would be sooooooo freaking cool, I just imagine everyone on the plane asking about this, it would look incredible! what do you think?
Nothing pad (1)?
really, what apps do you miss on android? I especially would like an ipad killer to just transfer movies super easily. for me it’s not the apps, but the smoothness of the OS. iOS on ipad pro is just gorgeous, but i’d love to have an android version of that. Add for it to be transparent, it would be incredible!
I think it’s a bit too early to think about a Nothing Pad(1).
We have to make sure that the Nothing Phone (1) and the Nothing OS, but also the future ecosystem are really effective and that Nothing can show other brands that Nothing is to be counted on from now on!
Even if nothing prevents us from dreaming of a Nothing Pad(1) in the future…
I think Nothing is the only company which can disrupt the otherwise dull Ipad market. I’d really like to get my hands on a good affordable Ipad. What do you guys think?
A tablet with a good operating system like the IpadOS is the key. An operating system easy to use, familiar, with some tweaks that allows shortcuts (like the note shortcut with the pencil) and a correct integration with other products, will create the iPad killer in my opinion.
Please. If you create a tablet, sell it with the pen included.
A tablet would be a good device to have in a ‘unified’ android system, but Nothing needs to streamline the basics with a smartphone first, other android companies are still struggling to develop a streamlined experience across all their devices (phone/tablet/laptop/desktop).
If Nothing can get at least the smartphone sphere to work seamlessly with other smaller smart devices (watches/audio/smart home devices), this would change the game with Android. Sorting out this, will make a tablet more feasible in terms of connectivity.
Probably the most major obstacle is the tablet experience, Nothing will have to really focus on strong concept to make a solid tablet experience. Android tablet makers are still struggling to develop a convincing experience for customers to switch from the ‘PadOS’ experience. Personally use an Android tablet due to flexibility, but ‘potential usage’ compared to ‘actual usage’ is heavily limited by an unpolished experience (e.g. ease of document access and note-taking, sharing documentation across multiple services) etc. It’s possible, but the user experience is key to a successful tablet.
Let’s think about nothing pad one

I know this idea has already closed off considering the last thead was 2022. I’d like to give a new spin to the existing ieas I’ve seen. The iPad mini 6 is the best tablet ever released regardless of it’s OS just the fuctionality alone is something that should be replicated. Surely I understand the concerns on the OS part for Android but I think within the next 2 years or so we could have really great competitor for iPadOS. Considering what happening behind the scenes with Samsung x Google, Android would be amazing if it was on something like iPad mini 6 Android alternative (Especially Nothing). Just my thoughts.
Anybody from nothing please tell me you guys are working on nothing Tab - 01
Smooth intergration between smart phone - tablet - laptop is required by creatives on the move. Personally I would use a device twice the screen size of a smart phone; for photo and document viewing with clients. I would prefer a smaller smart phone with basic apps and a good camera teamed up with a tablet.
