Finally with the latest update the problem with Android Auto has been solved… thanks to the Nothing Team for the work done.

Happy to see we’re all getting this issue resolved. It took some time, but the main thing is we got there Kudos to the team for getting this fixed.

Lucky you :-)
Unfortunately, not fixed for me, with a Peugeot 3008 from 2002.
After connection to the USB cable, I don’t see the Android Auto icon on my GPS display.
Is there a way to launch Android Auto manually on the smartphone, to force a configuration and connection ?
Fixed it for me, thanks
Finally, today I downloaded 2.5.6 update and happily Android Auto works in my Peugeot 208 using cable. I have not tried to configure wireless connection (not sure if is available in my car) but as I use mostly the cable it is fine for me. Kudos to Nothing tech team to solve this issue.
Hi, I have a ford smax and a 2a, just done the update and now having issues with android auto….it starts up but I can not use Google maps, has anyone else found this problem?
Centrino by the year of your car I think you should go with Peugeot dealer to see if they can update your radio firmware, that should solve your problem.
Another solution is to get an after-market radio updated to handle android auto, there are several options in amazon or aliexpress that seems fine.
Took a while for my phone to get the update but I can confirm all is now working on my Peugeot 2008. No more black screen or a single screen refresh every minute. Working perfectly!
Thanks Nothing. It took a while to correct and honestly should have been picked up during initial testing and resolved before the phone went on sale looking at the amount of folks with the same issue, but you got there in the end.

Praneel Kabra Good evening, I faced this issue with a phone of a different brand and was able to solve this by entering the Android developer options and moving to “USB audiorouting deactivation”. The button has to be switched ON / activated. But I use Android Auto only with a USB cable connection. I don’t know, if this also works with a wireless connection.
hey guys, I was considering to buy np2a and I use AA alot, is this issue fixed for everyone after 2.5.6 update or do some of you still have it? appreciate it

ChiragKhurana Not fixed for me no.
But several users reported that the last update fixed the problem - see above :-)
Centrino I see that you mentioned about Peugeot 2002, I assume that you must be using an aftermarket stereo with AA yes? Is it wired or wireless for you?
ChiragKhurana I made a typo : it is 2022, a car from 2 years ago.
But the fix is not working for me.
Centrino got it, seems like I might have to go with pixel
Till now I got the new update but the android auto not working with my changan edo plus car….I have the nothing phone 2a…. tried the galaxy s23 and the android auto works fine …..so I wonder why
On the other hand it works on my wife Hyundai car
My Phone 2A has been working fine with Android Auto in my car until this weekend, and now it just won’t connect.
Everything’s got the latest updates (the car hasn’t had an available update for a couple of years), I’ve tried different cables, bought a new cable, restarted my phone, uninstalled and reinstalled Android Auto updates, all multiple times, but the phone won’t recognise that the car is there.
Is anyone else having problems?
