I’ve got myself a new nothing phone 2a and everything works perfect except Android Auto. With my old Samsung Galaxy S10 it worked just fine, but since I switched it started to have massive problems. It connects to the car via USB but then the AA screen just isn’t responsive at all and only updates every few minutes. So it’s not a problem of my car, because with every other phone it works. I also updated everything, tried to reinstall it, disabled the battery saving mode for AA and so on.. Is there any hidden option that could cause this kind of problems or is AA just not optimized for this phone yet? Somebody with similar problems who got a solution?

Where is patch?

If you guys want this fixed keep raising it with Nothing Support and don’t take no for an answer. No point responding in here asking for an update as no one from Nothing is going to respond.

Shay

freshj1ve Someone from Nothing already responded and this thread needs to live.

freshj1ve

Shay sorry but what post was that?

Also I didn’t say anything about closing this thread. 🙂

freshj1ve Ethan Walker from Nothing responded here.

Shay thanks, I’ll believe it when I see it. 🙂 Last time support said it will be fixed in the next update and it wasn’t. 😆

Nothing is right brand to replace the Oneplus which has lost its way. However the nothing customer care is nowhere close to Oneplus. Such kind of customer service is unacceptable for a new brand like Nothing. Please for sake of all of us.. Improve!!

Looks like the update we’ve been waiting for has finally arrived..

“🚗 Fixed certain compatibility issues with Android Auto.”

Looking forward to hearing that issue has been resolved once the OTA is available and has been tested, good luck all. 🤞🏼

Louis ☕️

freshj1ve Can confirm this update resolves the issue. I had to plug my phone into the car first, to set up Android Auto. Then after unplugging and using my AAWireless connector, it works just as it should.

Android Auto is back! 🔥 🚗 🎵

Louis ☕️ music to our ears (pun intended), thank you.
