Apple’s annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) kicks off today at 10 am PT!
The event continues throughout the week (Monday 6th June through to Friday 10th June), so I thought I’d create a place for us all to chat about it both pre, during, and post-event.

For those unfamiliar with the event, what exactly is WWDC? In its simplest form:
“Typically each Summer, Apple holds a developer conference to announce upcoming major software updates to all its platforms, with sometimes some unexpected launches.”
This year’s rumours include updates iOS 16, updates to iPad/Mac/Watch/TV OS and talks of a VR headset circling the web too. However, don’t expect too much on a hardware front, as it’s really quite rare for these to be announced at WWDC events (but not impossible!).
There’s been lots of talk around the emojis used in the marketing for the event, with some of them wearing glasses, so perhaps there might be some initial software tech around this?
What are you expecting to see from WWDC22? What are you most excited about?
