Phone (2a) - Call Drop

I got nothing 2a two days back. Since then call quality is very bad and calls are frequently dropping and the person on the other side is unable to hear my voice.I have updated all drivers and software but all in vain. Is it a problem with all units or specifically for me ? What are the fixes i have tried all the generic fixes but no avail .

shantanuHazra i didn’t face any call drop ngl. But just try using 4g and volte as 5g is still progressing it might be an issue. by any chance do you face sounds cracks occassionally during calls cuz i did and I’d like to know if someone faces the same issue

shantanuHazra If you are using 5g network then it may cause this issue, try to use 4g network instead of 5g.

shantanuHazra i’am too with NP2a and never have these issues, maybe it’s a provider problem?

You tried to activate/deactivate VoWifi or VoLTE?

johannes_m Tried Everything including VoWifi Volte and VoNR but no results. Did many times reset network and Wifi and even phone hard reset but no avail.

Same problem with me, having bad experience in calls for example other person cant hear my voice and it is breaking.

Tried with 4g and 5g.

I’m reaching out to the community because I’ve been experiencing some issues with my phone recently. Whenever I answer a call, there’s a noticeable call muffle and a hissing sound in the background. This happens consistently, and it makes it difficult to hear the person on the other end clearly.

Additionally, I’ve observed a slight battery drain when my phone is connected to a Wi-Fi network.

I was wondering if anyone else has encountered these problems? Here are some details about my phone:

Phone model: (Phone(2a))
Operating system version: (2.5.3)

I’ve tried restarting my phone and checking for software updates, but the issues persist.

Has anyone found any solutions or workarounds for these problems? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Just switch ovf 5g calling in network setting, it worked for me

Same problem with me.

Facing very bad experience in calls in my Nothing 2a. My carrier is jio 4g. I am keeping my preferred network type as 4g and disabled the optipn of use 5g for calling.

Please suggest.

Did you try to install carrier services from App Store? It’s a google app, dealing with some carrier specific issues.
