Phone (2a) - Microphone Sensitivity

I am a person who enjoys practicing singing by recording on my smartphone.

In vocal recording, it is important that the microphone accepts the volume of a person’s voice as it is without distortion of Strong and weak Volume.

However, 2a’s microphone always distorts the volume of a person’s voice within a certain distance.

When I sing, I have to record while keeping my voice loud and small, and 2a corrects it so that it sounds louder than I intended.

This is because the default setting of the machine microphone is forced to fit the normal conversation recording.

If I keep the microphone away from my mouth, this phenomenon disappears, but then I can’t capture the small, delicate emphasis expression of the vocals.

I used the Galaxy before using 2a. The microphone on the Galaxy gave me the volume of my intended close-up voice volume as it is.

I suggest it. Please add the UI in detail so that the user can arbitrarily adjust the microphone sensitivity of 2a. And please make it sustainable for third party apps that use microphones as well as basic recorders.

If that’s difficult, please change the default settings so that the microphone doesn’t artificially detect voice at close range and distort the volume to add. Very inconvenient

I’m on the same boat as you. I primarily use my phone to record guitar and my vocals. But the noise cancellation distorts the voice so much that it sounds bad. Hoping they would give us an option to disable it or just remove it.
