I was so looking to buy this device which was advertised for about US$350. Can anyone send me a link where I can get it for the advertised price.
Why is Phone (2a) so expensive on Amazon - USA
Hey
Currently phone (2a) is only available in the US as part of the developer program.
Head over to nothing.tech for more info and pricing. This will be $350 as advertised for select variants.

Hi. I wish I knew the answer to that. I just think it is bewildering that absolutely no information is shared by the company. Especially given the fact that they seemingly want to portray themselves as having a special connection with their customers.
laao-one Hey, Amazon listing is not sold by nothing and probably an imported unit sold by a 2rd party shop. Only way to get Phone (2a) in the US is through the developer program, keep a look on the website for more information on availability.

gsargut This is the way Amazon work since product is from Nothing as a brand, they link to the brand store page, but the actual offer details are under the price and link to another corporate
Thank you for that information! I had not noticed that. It looks like they are a FL company that buys products from all over the world to sell in the US. Here is hoping they are selling the real thing…
RapidZapper Thanks for the reply, and yes, I have already reviewed the developer program, I entered my email and the message “We will contact you once available!” appeared. However, it is a bit sad as I wanted to buy the Phone (2a) when it first came out but the price on Amazon USA was $600 at that time, I guess I just have to wait and see if there is any discount in the future and the price is closer to $350…
laao-one any other listing that is not on nothing.tech is until further news, handled by 3rd party, price included
Phone 2 is only 400$ in india

I swear this must be a joke!
After all this waiting, see below for the email I finally got from from the developer team. These people do not know what is going on in their own company. They are not even aware that the only way to get the phone in the US is through the developer program. It is disgraceful. This is either incompetence, or bad management, or whatever… But it is hard to trust a company that is managed so badly. I am done. Such a shame…
Thanks for your application!
We got your application. Your idea is cool.
Why not try to make a demo first? In fact, you can debug the Glyph Interface without GDK.
Debug mode will be automatically disabled after 48 hours. With the GDK, you can remove the 48 hour limit.
How to enable debug mode?
Step 1: Make sure your Nothing devices are running Android version 14 or newer
Step 2
For Phone (1) and Phone (2) users, you can debug the Glyph Interface via adb command: adb shell settings put global nt_glyph_interface_debug_enable 1
For Phone (2a) users, you can debug the Glyph Interface in developer options
Send the demo video or images to us. Show your features.
And we will check it.
Looking forward to your masterpiece
The Nothing Team
And here is my response:
Dear Sir or Madam,
After a month of trying to hear back from you, do you still not get it??
I DO NOT have the Nothing 2(a). I applied to the developer program from the US because that is the only way I could get the phone.
Do you guys not know what you are doing within your own company? Do you not know that the 2(a) is sold through the developer program in the US and you can buy the phone only after the approval?
How can a place be managed in such an incompetent manner. Honestly, right now, I cannot believe that the phone is really that good, given how bad the management practices in this company are…
Respectfully,
Gökçe Sargut
gsargut you probably used the API key request form which is only dedicated to app submission and is not made for device sales.
But there is only one form on the US site after you click on buy and pick the phone you want. There is absolutely no other link or information. Doesn’t anyone in the company notice what is on that site?
gsargut this should be the link but it seem to be out of stock for now

That’s exactly where I went to. The problem is that they never responded. It should not be hard to say something like “we are out of phones for the US right now and therefore not able to approve your developer kit application.” I would have understood that and there would be no wasting time with all these back and forths. I really do not understand why communication is so difficult for these people. But in any case, thank YOU for responding to my posts. I really appreciate it!
RapidZapper And is there an estimated time for the phone 2a to be back in stock? I find it incredible that it is so difficult to buy the 2a phone in the USA
