Phone (2a) - Fortnite Optimisation

I’ve been watching gameplay videos of Fortnite on the Nothing Phone 2 and 1, and they look great! However, I’ve noticed that the Nothing Phone 2A isn’t optimised for it, leading to quite a bit of lag during gameplay. It would be fantastic if it could be optimised like the previous models for a better gaming experience.

What do you all think?

Same, I thought that was how the fortnite should look on phones but then my friend downloaded it on his galaxy a54 which has slower cpu and gpu but it ran better and had fewer visual glitches. Also I have noticed strange artifacts on water when you are looking on it from far away (from battle bus for example)

Is it really not good on the 2a? As in are the graphics unplayable and does the frame rate drop a lot, potentially losing you a fight? Or is it manageable just not as good as other phones? Is the Phone 2 really that much better?

victory_gomuj No, frame rates are alright (40-60 fps on high preset) and other that odd water artifacts(which you dont see during match because you are close to water), gameplay is fantastic. The problem is on a54 there is no such visual glitches and fps is more like 50-60 fps, that doesn’t mean you should take a54 as this may be only fortnite issue and overall np 2a is better.

AgentY 2a is soo good,as you told. The only problem is that it is not separately optimised for nothing phone 2a, which causes the game to run but does not use the cpu and Ram that effectively.

Overall if you want to have nice phone not made specifically for gaming and you are going for the OS then I would suggest you to take nothing phone 2a
