I’m eagerly waiting for Os update of nothing os, as motorola has upgraded himself with hello os and tons of near feature and premium looking experience, I’m expecting nothing os 3 will bring plethora of features to the table for the real enthusiasts. Meanwhile nothing os has been my favourite in terms of realiable, clean and clutter free experience. I’m hoping it will exceed my expectations.

After installing os 2.5.6 half hour ago, the photo processing review shots are even slower than 2.5.5 = 2.5.4
What’s happening? New os update is affecting negatively on camera processing speed - opening app, capturing, reviewing!!?
Is anyone facing similar slower speed in the Camera App? Thx

After using 2 months of Nothing Phone(2a)

Need Different tone for alarms
Double tap to wake screen on(now single tap)
To manage incoming calls effectively, you can use dual SIM functionality on your mobile device by setting different ringtones for each SIM card. This way, you’ll instantly know which number is being called without checking your phone.
Using the fingerprint scanner to unlock the device, the brightness of the light on the fingerprint scanner is too high, please fix it, in night time it’s so disturbance
Using one-hand mode, the bottom functions that are hidden are not accessible.
Adaptive brightness not working properly.
While recording using the back camera, I can’t switch to the front camera.
If I attend a phone call while using another app, the phone call takes up the full screen. I would prefer it to be like on Samsung mobiles, where the call is attended but remains as a popup pill.
If phone is locked don’t allow to turn power off or restart

Photo Widget now allows you to tap-to-enlarge for full-size images . My suggestion accepted and implemented in todays update v 2.3.6. Thanks

If the image popup after double tap instead of single tap it will avoid accidental popup of the image.

Would be nice to have the Step Counter widget on the Lock Screen so I don’t have to keep going into the phone. That said, if there is already that functionality, could someone advise me as to where and the how? Thanks! 😁

Hi Nothing team,

We need a personal Foler to keep personal documents and other stuff, Samsung providing secure folder its really great feature. Please come up with same kind, without this feature samsung users will not stay much time with Nothing.

I caught myself thinking that very often I have to connect and disconnect a bluetooth speaker. For this I have to do too many taps, Quick settings > Bluetooth > “needed Bluetooth device” > Disconnect

I guess it would be better to have a widget for every bluetooth device to quickly connect and disconnect from it (or make a quick disconnect through quick settings by tapping on it)

In nothing 2a there is no battery charging indicator in glyph interface, please add this feature, it’s more useful when using nothing phone

I may add more suggestions later:

Option for measuring used bandwidth of a prepaid Cellular data plan that refreshes every n days unlike a set day of month.
Option for hiding the status bar clock when on the home screen with a time widget present, resulting in a cleaner look.
If control panel / quick settings were disabled on lock screen, they should be once again available after unlocking and staying on the lock screen (like you do when you face unlock).
