My cup of tea:

  1. An option to shuffle the number-pad whenever you want to unlock your phone with a PIN.
  2. The ability to rename apps in the app-drawer.
  3. The ability to chose an icon from icon themes (either default or user-installed) for each app individually. Some custom launchers have that feature (Niagara Launcher at least).
  4. The ability to set charging speed to either normal or quick charge.

None of those settings should be hard to include since some of them are already included in ā€œlineageOSā€, others are available in some custom launchers.

About 2. and 3.: I use K-9 Mail form mailing services on my phone. I hate the name: Iā€™d rather name it just ā€œMailā€. I donā€™t like the icon: give me an option to choose whichever icon from whichever icon-theme I have installed on my phone.

Is there any way for the user to request a tap and pay / nfc transaction from others ? For example say a person want to send me a certain amount , so I can show him a virtual tap and pay interface and the user can do the payment. Is there any such option.

If there is no such option I would like to suggest it as an idea from my side.

    Good idea, i think first it need to be innovated by gpay, and then it will avaible to all the phones.

    Is there any chance that the company will launch or does the community think that Nothing should/will launch their homegrown ā€œSTANDBY MODEā€ with Nothing OS 3.0 or in a further updates?

    BassimBinYoosaf Given this can already be done with payment apps like Square and Stripe, I think this would only require an app to function on a Nothing device. Or as suggested above, it could be incorporated in to the Google Wallet/Google Pay app.

      I donā€™t know if anyone has shared it yet, but I found a video that describes perfectly what I see the entire OS lacks. If you didnā€™t see it, enjoy it here. If it was already shared, Iā€™m sorry hehe.

      Please add double tap to wake functionality instead of the current single tap to wake. Single tap causes a lot of false touches .. resulting in menus and buttons being pressed while the phone in my pocket.
