Here are my suggestions to make the haptic feedback in Nothing OS better:

  1. Gradually increasing/decreasing vibration while adjusting the brightness, and the volume by either touch or the buttons.
  2. Haptic feedback while pressing the power button to lock/unlock the screen.
  3. Haptic feedback while interacting with the homescreen and lockscreen widgets.
  4. Haptic feedback in the notification panel while interacting with the quick tiles, top left clock, bottom right settings and power buttons, and while opening notification history (most of the times, I can’t even tell if I’ve managed to open it, especially when there’s no pending notifications) and clearing notifications either by the clear button or swiping individually.
  5. Haptic feedback while clearing recent apps either by pressing the clear all button or swiping individually.
  6. Haptic feedback in official Nothing Apps. For example, rewinding the audio in recorder app.
  7. Introduce an option in settings to adjust the haptics intensity in the OS, preferably for each different category of interactions.

Also, there’s an issue I’ve been facing with the vibration settings in Nothing OS. I don’t want my phone to vibrate while in ring mode, but if I disable vibration for calls/notifications, it stops vibrating even when in vibrate mode, basically turning it into silent mode. I’ve seen a couple of posts here regarding that but with not much attention given to them. Kindly fix this issue.

Option to choose square icons. We have a mess because the icons are round and the widgets are square.

Nothing Dailer with auto call recording just like Samsung Dailer. it shouldn’t shout that it’s recording!

Circular battery ico

and Nokia Pure font as UI font(hopefully it is allowed to use by owners, I’m not sure if it is)

I’m a Phone (2a) user running OS 2.6, and saw the 3.0 beta on some YouTube videos with really no change to the pin screen. I’m personally not a big fan of just this plain background with the buttons being the only highlighted thing. My suggestion is for the phone to blur the lock screen/wallpaper when swiping up to log in with pin/pattern, just like Windows 11 when entering your password. Anyone with me on this? Would this seem better compared to a static background?

I think when Nothing OS will focus on software that replaces Google . Then the end user will be more interested. I hope that Nothing has the same view on the future of the company.

The gallery app added to Nothing OS 3.0 is the most correct vector. I hope that the frequency of new app releases from Nothing will only increase
