Dear Nothing Team,

I hope you’re doing well. I wanted to share a couple of suggestions to enhance the scrolling experience on your devices, which could be implemented through a software update.

  1. The first suggestion is regarding the touch and scroll interaction. Currently, when we swipe on the screen, it stops rather abruptly. It would greatly improve the user experience if, with a light touch, the screen could glide smoothly and gradually come to a stop, instead of halting immediately. This would create a more fluid interaction, similar to how it feels on iOS devices, where the content continues to move for a while before gently slowing down and stopping on its own.
  2. Secondly, I believe adding a bounce-back effect at the end of scrollable content would significantly enhance the overall look and feel. This effect, combined with smooth transitions and animations, would make scrolling more engaging and polished, providing immediate feedback to the user without being too harsh or mechanical.

Incorporating these features via a software update would elevate the scrolling experience and make interactions feel more refined and seamless.😊

If you make a option to customise glyph feature for apps that can be selected from all apps would be a great help for us ……

I’m not turn on glyph because it will glow everytime …whenever watching videos,whatsapp status,reels…..etc.There by battery is draining…..

Can you add this option ,it would be a great help for us…..🙏🙏

    The news section left to the home screen can be used for more functional things like holding all helpful widgets and they can be themed of different criterias. for instance if a person like to take notes regularly, a pre built theme with helpful notes taking widgets like widget for directly notes taking, widget of calendar for tracking date and widget for pinning important notes etc. there could be more other pre built themed widget sets helpful for different categories for different type of people.

    There should be a small lock screen widget which we can put on the home screen which if we click will turn the phone off so we don’t have to press the power button every time which is very hard when you have a case on the phone

    Hi Guys!! Am a fan to the WHOLE ideas and concepts of Nothing. It’s my first time writting up to you Guys over in Nothing. Am an user of IOS most of the time but when Nothing first introduce Nothing Phone 1, i was brought back to the memories of when i was just a kid who gets his first toy!! It was so intense that i came back alive after years of just “acceptably happy” using IOS and their usual looks of the Iphones. Knowing that the Founder of Nothing is also the brain behind OnePlus really excites me coz’ i used to be a user of the One Plus phones way back and those times are just AWESOME and makes me feel UNIQUE. So here i am, with just 2 wishes in my wishlist. 🙂

    #1 ) As said, i was from the IOS eco-system that i wont lie about how i was just so used to how i interact with my phone daily. I am a minimalist and always setup my phone especially my homescreen as little widgets or icons. Wallpapers are a HUGE part in me creating The Look for my phone. There is this thing in IOS after swiping down or just touch screen the Search button that will auto appear the keyboard and we can type to search for any app. After that, i can just press GO and it will open the app which i search for. Nova launchers works that way too but it stutters abit and also will break the ‘ fluid ’ animation which Nothing OS is really amazing to begin. So currently, i have used Nothing phone 1, skip the 2, tried 2a and now using 2a plus. I just hope that maybe, just maybe that this function can be implemented into anytime soon update i guess. 🙂

    #2 ) Am loving all the designs by your team but i do especially like the 2a look. Took me some time to choose between the gray and black for the 2a plus but eventually i chose black as much as i want to showcase the artwork of the back panel. I was just wishing if only the insides wired lookings are slighltly in brighter gray so it will stand out. Just me i guess.

    So Nothing…. thats all i have. Love and appreciate what you Guys have created and will still support for your upcoming OS 3.0 the future of Nothing. CHEERS!!

    Spike Ig the option to make distinct passwords for each locked app… And which is different from the lock screen password… Would be a nice addition

      AjinSam Hey 👋 For ideas like this, I’d recommend providing OS feedback via your phone’s Settings > System > Feedback option.

        Nothing phone 2a have Image widgets on it’s home screen!
