Nothing OS Wishlist (2024)

When making a screenshot, It would be much better to first crop or even delete it, before saving it to gallery. Currently it automatically saves the screenshot, even if I want to edit it first. This way I get duplicates - one original and one cropped.

Firstly, I would like to address regarding the flashlight modes for the rear camera. The glyph flash mode will automatically turn off when the phone faces down and turns back on if changes position. Then, there also seems to be no auto flashlight mode for taking pictures with the rear camera. Both the flash icon and the flash with the dot icon are just fill light mode. Please fix this.

The next thing is that, it would be great if a separate systems volume setting is added in the next update, so that we can adjust the keyboard sound and the camera shutter sound separately without relying on the ringtone sound setting.

Also please add the auto restarting feature, battery protection limit charge, and the option to enable or disable fast charging feature.

Here are my wishlist;

1. Notification counters for all messaging apps. It feels cheap without counters. Even Vivo has counters.
2. 2×2 calender widget which will quickly show month without occupying much space.
3. Live system wallpapers.

When we will be having access to nothing gallery.. As currently we are using only Google photos.

@changename please check and let us know.

I using Google gallery instead of photos at the moment.

Please add option to lock the screen brightness in game mode.

Changing brightness while gaming is troublesome.

I suggest creating a nothing themes application where there will be themes not only for the desktop but also for the lock screen with its own clock and aod style

A request for adding glyph flash/ torch feature for Snapchat, Instagram and other apps…as it is only restricted to camera app currently….
