    @changename should introduce this option to phone 2a. In today’s time it’s very important to copy text from any image or screenshot

    Subject: Need to give suggestions that give phone more character.

    1. Expecting a legendary font that looks like Google sans, helvetica or OnePlus slate the default one is not looking good
    2. Give red black and white theme inside settings page also.. settings look plain as stock
    3. give some roundness to the edges of boxes( eg: notification in notification panel)like pixel.. now it’s like more rectangular
    4. Make animation little slower and gradual like ios.. it seems like more fast and i can’t enjoy the smoothness
    5. Samsung giving tons of features with the good lock app, that makes more people stay there.. hoping that u also give an option for techy peoples and we don’t have to switch to custom roms for these features

    Can anybody tell me, how can I stop access of foreground and background internet access to any app on Nothing Phone 2? If it’s not present, add it. If it is present make it easily accessible.

    No internet access by any means like mobile internet or wifi. I haven’t found this menu anywhere in NOS 2.5 nor in any previous versions.

    Before buying this phone, I made sure that it has a battery limit feature, and it does, the alarm battery limit feature. But now I found out that I have to use a charger that’s high power, then I don’t see the point again, cause the heat will also damage the battery if I use it every single night. And for people that say it’s ok for me to charge it to 100, because of my working a schedule, I prefer not to use my phone after I wake up until the afternoon, which will keep the battery at 100 or closw to 100 for a long time. So please have a battery limit feature, please…

    Nothing os is minimalistic and light for phone . But it can be also like google pixel os with minimalistic approach

    1. It should have lock screen customisation like pixel or Xiaomi. not limited to only widgets.
    2. Screen recording doesn’t have any settings for quality and frame rate control . And also there is no floating icon for it .
    3. If they are bringing any nothing apps they should do like other apps uploading them on google play store to keep that apps updated.
    4. Updates shouldn’t be pushed for name sake and also optimise the charging speeds while using phone.

    These are features that don’t make software heavy.. but are little bit essential

    Following are some features and apps that i want the nothing team to work on, which will make the phone amazing.

    Nothing OS is an amazing UI and performs the daily used features outstandingly, but going in depth, there is a lack of features that are found in other ui like one ui for example, so i am making this discussion so that people can ask for features, apps or ideas that feel missing.

    1. EDGE PANELS: By edge panels I don’t mean to just straight up copy one ui. No, i want nothing to attempt their own take on that kind of feature, I’ve seen some people use some actions from a panel in nothing ui, but no edge panel for apps and all. Would love to see this in nothing ui.
    2. PC CONNECTIVITY: one thing that i would wanna see nothing do, is make an all rounder nothing app that connects the phone to the laptop for seemless transmission of data, to use the mobile on laptop (kinda like how samsung flow did), use mobile camera as webcam etc
    3. SCREEN RECORD/SCREENSHOT: i want a built in app or option for screen recording. I don’t want to download third party apps for that. /Edit: i found out it is already in, so leave this one
    4. MORE OPTIONS TO TAKE PHOTOS WITH: one thing i miss a ton by switching from a very old samsung phone to nothing, is the lack of camera taking options. It doesn’t have palm to capture, floating shutter button, swipe to change camera and a ton of features felt left out.
    5. CHARGING INDICATOR: i was disappointed in not finding the charging indication on nothing phone 2a. And i feel like it can still be added as an option for the top-rigjt glyph light as it works as a meter.

    These are just some of the features i miss and want nothing to take an attempt on. I have always been fascinated by nothing’s phones and always wanted one, now having one, i would love to see you guys value your community and consider these features.
