Dear Nothing Team,

I hope this message finds you well. I am a loyal user of Nothing products and have been impressed with the innovation and user-centric approach that your company embodies.

I would like to suggest a new feature that I believe would greatly enhance the security of Nothing smartphones: the implementation of a password requirement before powering off the device.

Here’s why I believe this feature would be valuable:

1. Theft Deterrence: Requiring a password before powering off the phone would act as an additional layer of security, making it more difficult for thieves to turn off the device immediately after stealing it. This would increase the chances of recovering stolen phones and discourage theft in the first place.

2. Data Protection: Many users store sensitive information on their smartphones. By adding a password requirement before powering off, you can provide users with peace of mind knowing that their data is more secure in case their device falls into the wrong hands.

3. Customizable Security: This feature could be optional and customizable, allowing users to enable or disable it according to their preferences and security needs. This flexibility would cater to a wide range of users, from those who prioritize maximum security to those who prefer convenience.

I believe that implementing this feature would further solidify Nothing’s commitment to providing users with innovative, secure, and user-friendly products. It aligns with your mission to redefine the boundaries of technology while keeping user experience at the forefront.

Thank you for considering my suggestion. I look forward to seeing the continued evolution of Nothing products and the positive impact they have on the tech industry.

Best regards,

Sudarshan

100% agree with you. I had aslo sent feedback to nothing support to implement the same asap.

Requesting all to send the same by going to phones setting> system>feedback

Suudduuu_ Agree with you man. We all the fans are requesting this feature to nothing.

I also sent feedback to nothing about this feature.

A 90hz option would be great addition for the display refresh rate cuz 90hz is the sweet spot for both experience and battery. Ik ppl will suggest dynamic refresh rate option but it’s not a smooth experience. It misses out in a few places. So requesting nothing team to add 90hz option for refresh rate

I would really like to see a battery saving mode, similar to some phones, where charge is limited to 85%. It would be ideal if both the buds and the case could be limited in that way.

        Hello!

I really want the schedule to turn on and off by itself.

Or at least make it possible for the phone to wake up automatically when the alarm is set! IN Xiaomi such an option was available in 2015 (perhaps even earlier). Is this a very complex technical solution that cannot be solved by such an innovative system!!!?

I turn off my phone every nightI turn off my phone every night. And the alarm clock has not been working since morning. I turn on the phone and it shows me a notification: the alarm was set 30 minutes ago!🤪 And in previous phones it happened automatically.

I hope someone will hear me! Thank you!!

I have only one request. Please implement NFC Sim secure element support. Nfc sim used as transport pass. I had half of hundred phones. All of them support nfc sim secure element. Only nothing phone definitely not.

NotP2a well maybe you’re right as well but in my opinion it’ll be better without it. Everyone thinks in their way there’s no doubt about it.

I haven’t used any BBK Electronics products for myself I was always a Motorola fanboy so I used 4 Motorola phones, my last phone before Nothing Phone 2 was Moto edge 30 I never needed that feature you mentioned that’s why I…

as I mentioned earlier maybe you also are right some may have need for that all ok by me, if I don’t like I can switch back, there is options out there.

As a user who relies heavily on smartphone throughout the day, I believe having access to this information would greatly benefit me and other users.

Being able to monitor the health of the battery and track the number of charging cycles remaining would provide valuable insight into the longevity and performance of our devices. It would also help us make informed decisions about battery maintenance and replacement, ultimately enhancing our overall user experience.

I understand that implementing new features requires time and resources, but I believe this addition would be greatly appreciated by your customer base and could set your devices apart from competitors.

Hey there! I’m fairly new to the whole Nothing ecosystem, but I’ve been loving my Nothing phone 2 since I got it. However, I’ve been thinking about the lock screen widgets lately. Don’t get me wrong, the default info like time, date, and weather is handy, but I feel like there’s so much potential for more. Wouldn’t it be awesome if we could have things like the currently playing song or quick access to third-party apps right on the lock screen? I’m curious if there are any plans to expand the functionality of these widgets.

Have any of you guys received any type of email (not auto-reply) confirming that the nothing team has considered looking into any of the required features we ask about, either asked here in this thread or sent in the feedback options in nothing phone itself?

Because… i haven’t and it makes me question if they are even considering our feedback.

Because we need the extra productive and privacy features, along with the removal of some small features (like the inability to remove the navigation bar).

And knowing that the team is working on them, or at least considering them, would be not only a relief for now, but for future feature requirements also, knowing that they do consider the feedback of the users

I would greatly appreciate a feature where you can change the volume of individual apps.
