Kindly add the face recognition animation around the camera in latest OS update for every nothing phone.

Request for Nothing OS 3.0

1. Refine animation smoothness, It stutters sometimes when video calling or heavy tasks.
2. Improve Popup view to support most apps, multiple popups, popup direct from notification like HyperOS and colour OS but in nothing style of course.
3. Gallery app with AI editing features like Samsung and google.
4. Copy dock, slide bar, More widgets,
5. Improve Ram management. 8GB variants feels ram bottleneck issue.
6. Improve camera most of the time when clicking person and there is strong backlight behind the subject that photo comes out very very poor, Even can’t compare to budget phones we can improve this we have good hardware.
7. Surprise whole industry with AI integration that nobody thought. ( image search, summarize, smart replies, AI type, etc even better.)
8. AOD for limited time like 15sec after lockscreen. ( that’s look really beautiful and think it will be even cooler with Nothing look)
9. Lock screen customization yeah I like portrait wallpaper on lockscreen.
10. Keep loving All new and previous customer/Family by software updates.

    I work in the morning, and don’t want to have a photo of my spouse or family out in the open for everyone to see.

    Hoping for a feature for wallpaper to change after custom hours. Sort of like wallpaper auto change at 7PM when I am home.

    Also, came from a Samsung phone that can set moving/GIF/video as wallpaper. Missed that feature on the Nothing phone.

    So as a nothing phone user I have feeling some issue or having problem with some of the things are-

    -Need Auto Brightness button in notification drawer

    -Need Password for hidden apps

    -Need more setting for hotspot such as number of connections, hotspot limit,device limit,blockist

    -another password for private things for privacy

    -dark mode needs to be more dark (not grey)

    -compass app

    -camera pro mode lags too much when shutter speed is change in RAW mode

    And many other small issue I will update soon

    There should be an option for music controls in AOD.I think the screen should be turned on if the user double touches on the other parts of the screen except the music controls,as the controls control the music .I think this might be a good addition to the OS.

    Theoretically, I would have loved it, but then any dynamic/variable element on the AOD will add up on already battery consuming AOD, so…

    There is no proper alignment and font style of letter and numbers in the status bar.

    I am writing to share some feature requests for the upcoming Nothing OS 3.0 update on the Phone 2A. As a user of your innovative products, I believe these enhancements would greatly improve the user experience:

    1. Battery Charging Indicator Glyph: I would love to see the implementation of the battery charging indicator glyph, similar to what is available on Phone 1 and Phone 2. This feature is both visually appealing and functional, providing a quick and intuitive way to check the charging status.

    2. Icon Size Adjustment: Currently, the icons on the home screen appear quite large. It would be beneficial to have an option to reduce the icon size to 85% of the current size or to allow users to customize the icon size according to their preferences. This would help in creating a cleaner and more personalized home screen layout.

    3. Camera Improvements: Enhancing the camera performance would be greatly appreciated. Specifically, improvements in low-light photography, faster autofocus, better image stabilization, and enhanced HDR and portrait modes would significantly enhance the overall camera experience. Additionally, addressing the light flare issue and improving the processing speed after clicking a photo would be highly beneficial.

    4. UI Animations and Haptic Feedback: Adding smoother animations to the user interface would greatly enhance the overall user experience. Additionally, implementing more haptic feedback, especially during volume and brightness control, would provide a more tactile and engaging interaction with the device.

    5. Media Player Widget: It would be fantastic to have a media player widget in the notification panel and on the lock screen, similar to the style in Android 15. This would provide a more intuitive and visually appealing way to control media playback, rather than the current single-line format.


      I hope you will consider these suggestions. I look forward to seeing Nothing OS’s continued evolution and innovative features.

    Dear devs, please allow us to record video in macro mode by holding the shutter button. I had this feature on a previous phone and it was so great for making funny cat videos.

    It shouldn’t be to hard to enable this, right?
