I would like the Nothing team to implement the standard ringtones we get with stock Android smartphones. I’m using the Nothing 2a Plus, and I prefer normal ringtones over the ones that come with the phone. Ringtones which comes with phones is too quirky for my liking . I hope Nothing team add normal ringtones with software updates .

    Ashu yes but it special ringtones of nothing phone for glyphs, you can download and set every ringtone you want and not from libary of ringtones.

    I think thak with NOS3 we will get more ringtones.

      It would be really helpful if there was an option to show Contact Birthday in the quick look widget.

      Currently If I am right it displays only events and reminders.

      I’m also a fellow user of the Nothing Phone (1), and I just wanted to ask about the new OS (Nothing OS 3.0) and what features it might bring. Here’s what I’m hoping for:

      The ability to see who is connected to our Hotspot and what actions we can take with them.

      A double-tap to turn off the screen on the Lock Screen.

      Customizable charging sounds.

      App animations and notifications.

      Small volume interface.

      Showing the volume level indicator at the bottom of the Nothing Phone 1 (NP1).

      I hope the new OS makes the device much more exciting to use, as NP1 has been a bit boring lately, especially in terms of customizing

      The Lock Screen.

      Can someone tell me when Os 3.0 will is released 🥹🥹🥹

        We know that Nothing is announcing the much more anticipated Nothing OS 3.0 soon this month,
        As Carl Pei Shared some SS of changes in Nothing OS 3.0, Like changed font through out the system,
        New Clocks on lock screen, and Interactive Dot Animation. and I’m sure nothing is working on some other new features too in the backend.

        Here are some changes/features that I would like to see on the Nothing Phones, these are simple features that go a long way on how one uses their device.

        (P.S I’m writing this list from my work, and I have mentioned all the features that came to my head as I write it, And I will keep adding more features to this thread, So you might want to follow this discussion. Also let me know any other feature that comes to your mind)

        • Tap to show AOD 📱🔋
          An option for Always-On Display (AOD) to enable while the device is charging. A quick glance will give us information like any important notification, time, or charging status.
        • Quick call option: A quick call option in the system’s clipboard. 📞📋
          On copying something we have a default notepad that gives us options like Sharing, Another option that is again hilariously for sharing the text but this time via Quick Share as default and the third option for pasting the text directly to chatgpt, It would be really helpful, if on copying Phone numbers it gave options like, Call, Or Whatsapp.
        • Essential Glyph based on keyword 🔑✨
          An option to assign Essential Glyph based on the keyword. For example, if a contact name is detected, the Glyph will glow if you get a call, SMS, or any other notification with that keyword, enhancing the usability of Essential Glyph.
        • Stacked Widget Option 📚📲
          We have a lot of widgets, and at this point, the home screen is filled with all the widgets. A stacked widget will help us keep the home screen minimalistic.
        • Side Quick Panel 📞🧮
          A panel with multiple stacked information, like frequently called people, allowing us to call them with just a swipe in the side panel, or access quick apps or the calculator from any screen.
        • Media Output Switch 🎧🔊
          An option to switch media from various sources. For example, if viewing content on Instagram and it’s streaming on earphones, a toggle to quickly switch output from earphones to phone speaker, and then back again to earphone can be really handy.

        I have been considering some innovative features that Nothing could introduce to its community. One suggestion is the implementation of a dual camera system, and another is the addition of a cinematic video recording feature. These enhancements could significantly impact the brand’s appeal, potentially attracting new users who have not yet experienced these capabilities.

        Add a equalizer in sounds settings or something.

        Yes I’m AWARE of the nothing X app , but when I’m not using buds pro 2 , I ike to use a set of wired earbuds for at home

        Android 13 and above versions support the SDK the reduce or increase the intensity of flash light. When are we getting that feature on Nothing Phone

        I am using phone (2). To be clear I am not talking about glyph lights intensity

        Hi plz add advanced audio tuning for audiophiles like in other leading Korean mobile phone manufacturer has for.eg if one person is hard of hearing in one ear atleast he can tweak and use the settings to suit it better. Feature is adapt sound. This personalization will benefit many
