As a previous Oneplus user, the major missing I am facing in Nothing Phone2 is the gestures like ‘<’, ‘>’ for changing songs backwards and forwards, ‘V’ for flash light etc. It is very useful feature in many scenarios. Please bring this feature to Nothing Phone 2??

As a former miui user, I see a small ui thing missing. It’s not a big deal but then again Nothing is all about the everyday experience of the users (at least I believe so). So in the home page, in the upper left hand side we can see the present time. But it should not be there if we already have the clock widget on that page. Can anybody relate to what I am trying to say ?

i wish nothing phone should have Hide apps fro dilaler and app lock (pass word other than phone unlock password.

Can you give us the option to change the shape of the widgets? I really dont like the square shape

thers should be below points.

Touch to show basic details when screen is off for eg. time, notification icons, battery etc.
Need nothing music player.
Need nothing dialer.
Need nothing gallery.
Need nothing file manager.

hope nothing will soon release.

I happen to have the Phone 2 everything is very smooth with the phone except there are things i need to highlight about the software..

If possible let the usb drives read on the nothing os since i have tried in vain making my usb drive read on my phone but all i get is I must format my usb which have a lot of my contents.
Team Nothing should come up with your own Gallery app please and add some AI features things like Bokeh effects, magic eraser, cut out features and many more I know it’s not something that will come up in like 1 or 2 weeks but i believe you guys can make it with time.
Please and also please I’d love to see the adaptive charging implemented on Nothing OS since it’s something very very handy on our devices.
I will also suggest if possible for the team to introduce the lock power button with password or fingerprint so as it will be impossible for anyone to switch off the mobile phone incase you lose your device.
Also it will be nice if Nothing team could give us the option of either displaying or hiding the lower navigation line (bar) rather than it being there permanently.
Last I’d like to see a possibility of locking the control center when the phone is locked so as no one can turn the data off or Wi-Fi or even shutdown the device.

Those are just some few suggestions which i think should be implemented on the amazing Nothing Os I stand to be corrected.

I love the Nothing OS but I feel it lacks in flexibility in some areas.

One area I would like to see an improvement in is the notification popups, I feel everytime I get a notification it takes up a huge chunk of the top half of the screen and gets in the way 😂.

I know in gaming mode there is a minimalist feature for the pop up but it would be nice if the style of the popups could be more discrete like on One UI.

This is my first time on the Nothing forums and hope I haven’t posted this suggestion in the wrong place. Thanks 🙏.

We desperately need Zen Mode/ some kind of use blocking functionality in Nothing OS. I truly love the Zen Mode that’s there in OnePlus phones since its the most effective tool in cutting down on my screen time. It uses visualisations while turned on and gamifies the Zen Mode experience so you get achievements if you complete milestones. Ability to schedule Zen Mode ensures I stick to the plan.

Are there any plans on adding a similar functionality to Nothing OS?

Can’t agree more with this post. As for my thoughts on these topics:

2. Quick settings AND lock screen shortcuts really need this, since the phone(2) doesn’t have a physical mute switch. For some reason, only the ‘Mute’ option is present and only in the lock screen shortcuts.

3. The Glyph light should really be accessible from the lock screen at least the same way, as it is from the system by holding the flashlight button. (The thing I noticed is that when the Glyph light is active, the lock screen flashlight widget shows the same info as the system one, and I’m able to turn off the glyph light with it, but it doesn’t allow me to enable it again, so it might be a bug or an oversight.)

4. The haptics truly need at least an intensity slider because, right now, they are so strong that they are almost louder than the actual sounds of the keyboard.

10. The Gallery app would be really awesome, especially if it had an in-app photo editor since the standard Google gallery allows only filters.

Hi dear Nothing,

While increasing/decreasing the volume slider in light/dark mode the slider color is similar & the actual background color and can’t be noticed or differentiated.

My request is to make it 3D or add a shadow effect to it.
