AjayRathore_bLZc0oexMo same experience here, just when you thought you shot a perfect image, the camera over processes the picture with generous amount of exposure and plenty of orange hues, you end up getting a picture that looks like taken on the face of the Sun. 😅

I still love my NP2a though. 😁

I’m a bit concerned about the portrait from the main camera. The edge detection is not good and portrait quality is not upto the mark.

Do you have any opinions on the portrait effect?

And, which mm bokeh should I use for a good portrait picture?

While the camera is decent at best for most users. As an avid phone photographer, I notice a lot of missing sharpness and over-processing of images in default mode as well as expert mode on the Nothing camera app.

I’ve tried switching off HDR, Ultra XDR and even decreasing exposure to get the normal contrast that I see with my eyes. I thought the expert mode would bypass this but to no avail. The expert mode also does not allow shooting in 50mp mode which is surprising.

Infact, I’ve been using Adobe Lightroom Mobile app as my camera app because it never over-processes the photos and gives me a true to life raw(not the filetype) photo which I can edit to my heart’s content.

I urge the Nothing team to please resolve the above to enable a more natural shooting process for photographers 🙂

If the light source is behind the object then the photos taken are of extremely poor quality with no light control and flares all around

I recently bought the Nothing Phone 2a and I loved the phone and it meet all of my expectations. That was what I thought when I tested camera. Not tested but casually clicked some photos and their was a massive problem. In every photo where their was some features of white colour or some light colour, that particular part of the photo was over exposed. It looked better before processing which happens when we quickly look at photo after we click. Also when I clicked a few pictures of leaves the colour were not good, I can say it was bad. I have a Samsung galaxy A51 from 2019 and its colour processing and quality was far more better than the Nothing phone 2a. I have high hopes from Nothing and I hope they fixes this issue in their next update.

Even the potrait mode is off the back camera always takes blurry photos , only .6 takes a pic without blurry effect but other options takes blurry and unusable pictures, can any one tell me how to fix it.

Laggy camera experience even in mild sunlight. Portrait blurring are not upto the mark. Colours sometimes come out too saturated. Please fix it ASAP

SamriddhJoneja I think it will not solve through software update because it occurs due to hardware.

So the camera quality cant be improved through software update?
