Hello nothing, I hope you are doing well, i have been using nothing 2a for quite a few weeks [I don’t remember but at least 12 days ], and I am facing some issues with the camera.
1\. **Camera Color:** The colours are very inconsistent, sometimes it makes the image fade and sometimes it makes the image too saturated, and if I have to be specific then I would say, pink, red, green, and sometimes blue too.
Back Portrait shots are good after the 3 updates but again there are some problems, under good lighting conditions the portrait works well but when the sun is against me or behind my back the camera/sensors can’t seem to recognise the edge detection properly like I wear rim spectacles and I asked my sister to clicked portrait and the camera didn’t actually recognise the rim which was not on the face it really cut the rim, so try to make the edge detection better via updates.
Wide Camera: This is very good like has great details and in terms of depth I can’t ask more but the only problem I have been facing with the wide angle is it makes the images warmer. And I can change the white balance in Photoshop but the thing is the camera is doing this every time, so I can’t just go to Lightroom for every image.
Video: I have nothing to say it is absolutely good as it is but if I actually have to nitpick then I will say to make the image stable the selfie camera crops out most of our video, well I mot some sort of vlogger so I don’t need of selfie videos.
Selfie Portrait/ Selfie: When it comes to Selfie Portrait/ Selfie then I face the same problem of edge detection there are very less now, but when I try to click portrait against the sun the camera makes reflection or white spots on my cheeks and again I would say the colour can get far away from the Natural side mean sometimes can become oversaturated.
12mp v/s 50 mp: When you click images with both lenses and zoom the image then there isn’t much difference, don’t know if the 12 MP is too good that it can capture the same quality of the image as same as the 50 MP or it is just 50 MP which can’t do better on gathering details. So please let me know and yes the image isn’t actually the same but the only difference is about 10%-12%.
Consistency: If I have to conclude about the camera of Nothing Phone 2a, then there are lot of space there so you know that getting better and I don’t think it is some hardware problem these problems can be fixed slowly via some 4-5 updates.
One of the main things I have to say would be Consistency. The camera has potential but now facing some issues there are times when it will click photos like WOW! But there are times you can’t just imagine that you just clicked this crappy image after that good photo. And you can’t decide which one is a good photo and which one is bad until you go to the gallery yourself to check the image. But we can’t just go to the gallery again and again to check the image so again consistency is the problem that can be fixed. Because in viewfinder the image shows is very good but after clicking don’t know what happened it become worse.
And to readers, there aren’t only bad parts about the camera there are many things which are good about this camera, like the video quality you can’t find any video quality like this under this budget of 24,000 Rs.
Images with Night Mode are very good, it takes time to process but it surely is good at capturing details and photos don’t get too noisy, well I did face one bug. Last week I was walking in the park and I saw a street lamp when I clicked the image then there was this Halo or there is a ray of light in the image but this is the only problem you will face in the night mode.
SO I HOPE NOTHING SEE THIS AND TRY TO FIX THESE IN NEAR FUTURE and can you gift me a CNF charger please, it is expensive and i dont have any adaptor which can charge this a fast speed. Please..👉👈
