I purchased nothing 2a my phone doesn't give whole day battery backup I only use my phone for calling, few minutes of WhatsApp that's it.I have a good 5G network reception. Till 5pm I've only 25% charge left on my phone battery never gets hot or while charging it also stays cool still this issue came up is there any solution?

I would like to share my experience with a Nothing smartphone, model PHone 2a. I bought the phone in May 2024, and in June 2024 the smartphone simply stopped turning on… after much insistence and annoyance, Nothing exchanged the phone for a new one, as they wanted to repair the phone after 1 month, to which I said that I would not accept that since I had had the device for a short time… after 1 year the headaches returned, my Nothing has battery problems, networks do not always work well, battery problems that many also complain about here in the community and that apparently Nothing does not care about… The first time I lost some important data, as I had not yet made the weekly backup… With this I come to show my displeasure with a Phone 2a.

After the recent software update on the 2a, I see a rapid decrease in the charge. Even when the phone is in standby mode, it is reducing, I compared it with the iphone 15, but iphone battery is better. There is no background running apps, dark mode enabled, battery optimisation done. Even using simple news application (reading) drains more battery. Does anyone feels the same. We don’t want unwanted features we want battery life and through our updates our are decreasing it life . One request never give update s to decrease battery 🔋 life

Many companies doing these to sale there new model but nothing doing is not 🚫 good

You launched nothing 2a model with mediatek 200 pro which battery optimisated how you avoid battery draining updates

Note: i purchased nothing 2a , November launched bule colour ,not even a complete year completed,i have noticed before update performance with after performence

What about lagging though or i am the only one facing these after update:

Lagging in apps like youtube, instagram

Heating , never going lower than 35°C and reaching 40+
Also Battery draining problem.

raviladwal I’m also facing these issues bro heating around 42°C while browsing and very slow charging taking 2 hours to full charge

Guys i never thought i’d say this but , NOTHING is scamming us, keeping the phone’s temperature is very very basic thing which the company cannot do .

Forget about gaming bro, we can’t even use basic apps without this thing going up 40°c+ .

I mean what’s the whole point of a smartphone if you can’t even use it?!!!

I don’t have any problems with heat. I also have the same problem with slow charging. I’m waiting for the next update.
