Google wallet can't be accessed from quick settings

I have a query. Why can’t I access Google wallet directly from quick settings?

MadOne have you enabled NFC before checking the cards? I think it should work if NFC is enabled (have not tried it, but may work)

You cannot access the wallet if your phone is locked. It’s a safety feature.

Anonymous7 in unlocked condition it is the same as well.

I am currently using my nothing phone 2(a) in India and even though the wallet app has been released by Google officially the wallet widget in control panel is disabled. Any update on when this will be fixed?
