Forced Android Update
Infinity I hope so
Battery charged to 90% Yesterday Morning to 2% Ideal drain (whole night) to now 30% in 2.0.3 Nothing OS. If my battery gets ruined in this forced update. I have no other option than to exchange the device. I hope you understand.
andrewchris22 While the previous version did offer the best optimization for battery backup BUT I would recommend updating.
This current version is also functioning well for me.
If you encounter any issues or bugs after the upgrade, be sure to clear the cache of all apps.
PSYCHO it’s a matter of choice. I have never been forced into an update ever in my years of Android experience. The brand claiming to be not apple is doing what exactly apple does.
But I get your point too. I’ll see. As I said above, if the battery drops after FORCEFULLY ruining battery (like Apple) I’m forced to exchange the device.
It’s Not going to Ruin the battery life, instead with every update some tweaks are done in order to reduce battery drain issue. Not updating will not only compromise you from security point of view but many apps may not work in optimized way as they would have been with the update.
The original post clearly stated that they do not want to updated their OS. They are very happy with the way their device is operating so why is most people telling him to update. If its not broken why fix it in their case.

Joe King Thank you. Finally someone who gets the point of this post.
Erling Kindly check the 2.5.2 and 2.5.3 threads. You’ll find everyone with alot of ideal drain and less sot. Also I’m happy with my device and software man. Why should I update I’m completely satisfied and happy with my device and experience right now.

andrewchris22 lmao byw you can downgrade but it will wipe your data
And also they removed the Lockscreen Name Text font , attaching screenshot before the font was cool.
andrewchris22 There must be a command or script to disable this, but may involve a computer. XDA forum is a good source for information.
Bump. This is ridiculous. I want to update my phone when I WANT, not when NOTHING wants. In the middle of the phone usage it asks for updates, I reject, and after some time it will FORCE me to update. One year later you still do this. Absolute DISRESPECT.
