Setup Custom DNS-Adress: Pi-Hole and Nothing Phone

Hello lovely people,

I’ve been trying to setup my Nothing Phone to connect with my Pi-Hole (Raspberry Pi). The Pi-Hole runs 24/7 with a static IP in my LAN. But when I open the Private DNS Mode, I can “only” add a Hostname, not a static IP adress. If anybody could help me with that, that would be great

Wouldn’t it be easier to point your router DNS to your pihole instead? This way your complete wifi network has pihole’s benefits. That’s how I set it up earlier.

Mr Steel Thanks for the reply. Yes that would make things much easier, but the router from my ISP doesn’t offer such an option. It was easy to setup on my iPhone which is why I’m a bit surprised it’s not as easy on Android.

@Update: For the time beeing I’m using DNS Changer as a workaround
