So i just got this phone yesterday (Phone 2) and so far im liking it. Just one tiny bit problem is that i may need to press my finger harder on the screen to detect my fingerprint to continue. Just wondering if its by design? Thanks.

never had issue with Fingerprint in my nothing phone 2
I see then i might have soft hand then 
PotentialCarrot check your fingerprint with other phones also bcoz some people have issue in FP regardless of what phone they use
FP on this phone is some of the best ive used TBH. Close to OnePlus.
I had this problem and I used to register my thumb fingerprint five times for smooth experience..

This problem was solved when I replaced the screen protector with tempered glass now it works flawlessly and now there’s no need to register same finger many times.
Try updating the phone too.hope this works
