If you wanna start 3d modeling and rendering the free solution is Blender and its all in one tool with pretty good rendering engine. Personally I use something like Fusion360 more often because I dont like to deal with the topology. Especially when I am trying to figure the design and experiment. I used Keyshot for rendering as it allows to import almost any format without issues. Simple to use if you have basic understanding with very easy to use HDRI map editor. Also the material gallery is handy as you dont need to setup your own. But most important thing is not the tools and software you use but your artistic vision. Good design with decent visual interpretation will always looks better than mediocre design with great render/picture.
