Anchorman well said mate !
tomkarbowski No I don’t think so , these discussions are viewed even by the inside team .
Then what’s the use of community when there’s no communication
VishnuManjeri Absolutely True
I am happy with the Phone2 except for the camera. The truth is that this laziness in fixing it makes me seriously think that I will not buy another cell phone from the company. For me the camera is important, I expected something much more decent for €600.
It is not the best way to build customer loyalty. The silence around the camera’s errors is embarrassing.
Hopefully in a few months I will change my mind, but I think that in 2 years, when I change my phone, I will once again trust companies that have a worse interface, but an infinitely better camera, such as Xiaomi.
RuudHesp yeah you are right, these bugs will eventually fade off and the users might notice a slight improvement but the next new launch from the company will take over and people will forget the older devices.
Sad but true
i_Ramalama Phone 2 is still very solid for me ! I quite love the haptics to be honest. Never had a samsung flagship or an iphone to compare, but it’s definitely the best I ever had in terms of haptics !
I don’t use the camera so much so I can’t rely on what you are saying, I’m referring to the MKBHD blind test which put the phone 2 the best performance for the buck category, sooo
And performance is really really good with phone 2. I never had any lag at all, Nothing OS is a joy to use ! and this even after a full year of really intense using.
There is room for improvment but I don’t why there are so much complaint.
Remi F first of all I did not compare it to an iPhone or a Samsung.
The comparison is between 2a and 2 .
When you can get the same output on a much cheaper device from the same company, why buy their flagship !!!
If you can get your hands on 2a you will surely understand what am saying .
Hope you got the point .
As a nothing Phone 2 owner, I have to say that this is my first and last Nothing Phone, no matter what comes next. Why??? There is a lack of improvements, new innovations, communication. I was really excited to begin with, and it’s going well, but known problems aren’t being fixed and no new features are being added. Nothing is trying very hard to develop new devices at every level, but in the process forgets to look after the existing products. A good display and a few lighting effects aren’t enough to keep customers satisfied in the long term. For these reasons, I definitely won’t be buying Nothing for my next phone. It’s a shame, because I had expected a bit more from such a young company in the long run.
They are not even considering it as a flagship of the brand by not providing proper update. Hope most of the users are feeling the same..
i_Ramalama I’m an insider… I tested it heavely so yeah I got my hands on phone 2a. Some scenarios are better with phone2 and some are better on Phone 2a. You are comparing 2 phones that has like 8 month gap ^^ so of course there are differences
Waseemisitu what do you mean by proper update ? Phone 2 is supposed to get an update every 2 months, it’s on their product page lmao.
Phone 2ahas a lot of update because they are quick fixes updates. Phone 2 doesn’t have bugs like 2a does anymore, so of course it needs less update.
Waseemisitu well said
Remi F What I don’t understand is how in 8 months the camera is so terrible and the updates to the camera have been mediocre. A mobile in 2024 that cannot deactivate HDR or that at night generates a sky full of artifacts.
The other day, I photographed my dog during the day and he made a mess of his white fur. He doesn’t know how to interpret basic things. A phone from 2024 with 8 months on the market!
It’s not serious.
RuudHesp He doesn’t really know what he is talking about.
@Remi F The nothing phone 2a has a Samsung main sensor (Samsung ISOCELL GN9 (S5KGN9) ) . 1/1.56-inch Sensor .
Equipped with a Midrange mediatek 7200 pro chipset . ( With lesser cores ) That can give better output on image quality.
Then Why cant 8+gen1 with a sony IMX 890 . ( IF YOU ARE SATISFIED WITH THE OUTPUT THEN THE DIFFERENCE IS NOT YET VISIBLE TO YOU ) PERIOD !!!! BUT THE MAJORITY DOES!!
Remi F Looks like as an insider you are trying to convince the rest of us with the output that is satisfactory from only your perspective !!!
RuudHesp Oh shit !!!!
Me too mate , the HDR is killing the pictures .
Still now there’s no option to turn on and off the HDR .
It oversharpens the image and the image looks like painting.

@ “Mr Steel”#p55064 Caps doesn’t mean shouting !! More like an extra ear to it that’s all . Just like you did here !!
Chill out Mr steel . Nobody is shouting!
Yup mistake has been done by choosing phone 2.over any other flagship..had to deal with this atleast 4year can’t afford 40k device to buy soon
