Phone (2) is not a flagship anymore

Yup mistake has been done by choosing phone 2.over any other flagship..had to deal with this atleast 4year can’t afford 40k device to buy soon

You might not mean it as shouting, but I think it’s good to be aware that within the Internet etiquette it is perceived as shouting by the reader. Lots if articles online go into detail about this: Example 1, Example 2

It’s great that as soon as someone breaks the rules you tell them. I see it as sensible.

I would also love it if for all the camera complaints in the last 3-4 months, someone would say something.

I don’t even know why we bother to provide examples and continue in this forum. No one has responded indicating that work is being done on the camera. Very disappointed.

Thanks to the mods, they are not to blame, but it is sad that no one says anything about the camera in the face of so many messages of disagreement.

In times when software is everything (performance, features, updates, fixes, etc.), it’s a little bit sad, that Nothing is struggling a lot. I know, that to build good software, you have to invest a lot, it’s tough - time, money and people-consuming, but if a company want to prioritize it, they can do it… Yeah, If … If they want to release things/fixes faster, they can do it. But it’s again - decision. Company decision.

My biggest sadness is about this bug - Android Auto on NP(2) is never worked on lots of VAG group cars (Skoda, VW, etc.) for 9 months (since NP(2) release.

Hardware design for Nothing is great, no problems on that side.

But designing good hardware it’s easier than building good software.

EM (1) Even 2A has same bug android auto doesn’t work don’t know what they are smoking bcoz everyone is complaining about that in community.

It’s a fairly new company and the Phone 2 is only the second device. It’s logical that things are better one phone later.

I’d be interested to know why you still have the phone then at all? Obtain something suitable performant and may try a Nothing phone again at some other time. t

[deleted] I bought the phone several months ago and I am very satisfied except for the camera.

I’m waiting for an improvement in the camera, perhaps with the update released today that time will come.

I am not a radical person, I know that the company needs time, but I think that greater communication on this issue is necessary.

Got your point. So you did right, highlighting some room for improvement. The camera is a key function for me, hence I wouldn’t wait for any inferiority. I mean, it´s not on me as customer to adapt my demand to a lower performance level someone may is able to achieve.

It’s a phone, not your entire self-worth.

I guess the problems arise from size of teams at Nothing, they are quite ambitious for the amount of work force they have and thats great in a way. Maybe give 2 or 3 years and it will grow and become a more mature and consistent company.
