Sorry devs but it’s the worst update , the 5G networks are unstable , the lockscreen animation hangs , google maps are glitching , when notification screen is fully down it gets stuck doesnt go up again the phone 2 is full of glitches now

Hey got a weird issue after the 2.5.5 update on nothing 2 , Spotify app while playing music suddenly the sound is lost, I then have to pause play again to hear the sound back, happening all the time while using other apps, and Spotify is in the background. Any of you guys having the issue?

I am really interested un purchasing the Nothing Phone 2. The only thing that stops me at the moment are the reports about battery drain issues and overheating after the 2.5.2/2.5.3 updates.

I really hope that you could help me by sharing if the recent 2.5.5 update solved those issues?

I am a phone user that changes my phone after 5-6 years use, so battery friendly phone is one of the most important features for me. Overall, how is your NP2 battery performing, especially after last updates?

svevan97 I am using nothing phone 2. Giving around 7-8 hours screen on time on moderate usage. Sometimes it can go upto 10 hr SOT but depend on usage. For a 4700 mah battery this is more than expected.

Guys can anyone confirm is front camera fixed

I just updated to nothing os 2.5.5 in my nothing phone 2. I just noticed that while playing YouTube videos when I use volume rockers to reduce the media volume, the call volume is getting reduced, however there was no call connected. I need to open the volume arrow and reduce the media volume.

Previously when I use the YouTube or Instagram apps and When I reduce the volume only the media volume reduces. Like wise when I’m on the call and use volume rockers, the call volume reduces.

𝐚𝐧𝐦𝐨𝐥 Once you activate the ULTRA version, whenever HDR is activated it uses this option. The HDR option with the y button in red is always active. If it is without the point, it is activated or deactivated in automatic mode (in red when activated). Crossed out, HDR mode is never activated.

adbo does that mean I will get a new update, or will the system fix this issue after the software is fully optimized? Before having NP2, I had a realme GT 2 Pro, where after an update, I faced a similar issue, but that issue was only solved after the next update. So, is it supposed to work that way?

The wifi and network stability is actually bad after the update. It’s not latching onto the wifi and 5g is not getting connected.
