First of all, I just want to thank the Nothing Team for keeping us updated and working hard to give us a better experience with Nothing Devices.

Ive been using different brands/devices and this is my first time posting a suggestion/feedback to a brand.

Id like to ask if its possible to add an option where you can disable or block all possible coming notifications. The current settings right now wont let me and it keeps distracting me with these notifications.

Also, a screenlock while gaming would be awesome too. A screenlock that can be enabled and lock the screen that prevents us from swiping the notification and navigation bar. And to get out of the screenlock maybe a gesture button combination or double swipe on the sidebar where game mode is located.

Ive seen this feature in my previous devices and I hope you will add these too if its okay.

For your information, the game mode / game overlay is not developed by Nothing. It is the native game mode of Android, so yes for most casual gamers it is enough but it lacks some features for more regular gamers.
But it means that if they want to improve it they have to put people on it of course so it will take time.

  1. Would you please list any example of notifications? Like notification of Whatsapp or other app?
  2. Does Mistouch prevention in Game mode (Settings > System > Game mode) meet your requirements?

Whenever someone call me while Iā€™m playing games, the calls always interrupt my gaming flow. It will hover over the screen, make sound and true caller will pop out and we donā€™t have any option to adjust these things. Gaming need to be flowless and thatā€™s why we are having gaming mode.

Also I canā€™t silence the calls from WhatsApp by pressing volume button. It will ring indefinite, the only option is to silence the entire phone manually which is not convenient.

Many have seen issue with playing games..

As we know all most every OS has there own game mode which is specially design for games so that everyone will enjoy games at 60 or 90 fps. With lots of features.

I wish Nothing should also work on GAME MODE.

Nothing should create a game mode where we like can change FPS and all quickly and like add something like all game modes have is that your media volume is full (for whatever work you are doing) and you could mute the voice of game!

the current native ā€œGame Modeā€ in the Nothing OS is pretty much trash. Please do consider also improving on this feature.

- the only useful feature is turning on the DND when a game is launched.

- the game color plus is just too bright, vivid (personally)

- the mistouch prevention sometimes also prevents relevant clicks/touches

- when the ā€œminimalā€ for notification display is chosen, in-game I CANā€™T DISMISS a notification and that minimal display will overlap on the screen for a few seconds covering a small portion and during that time I cannot click on the top portion of my display (games in landscape mode) which can be crucial for certain games.

Edit: a must add feature in Game Mode is the ability to disable the auto-brightness

Not only that an ability to instantly turn off auto brightness or block auto brightness when u enter a game will be so helpful.

Becoz there is no option to turn it off in notification pannel I have to keep increasing the brightness when the phone decides that my hand covering the sensor is night n reduces brightness again n again

    When you get a notification in game mode, you canā€™t click on it, which is a good thing. But you also canā€™t click behind it. Itā€™s just in the way. I know I can turn on DND, but I still want to see my notifications and be able to click the buttons behind them too. Tried finding solution in settings, but I can only change the way the notification is displayed.

    I hope in nothing OS further update they will add some new features in gamemod like app shortcut, able to hanging call while gaming and customize gaming profile. Glad to see it.

    I play Minecraft regularly on my phone 2a and even with all of the hype around performance, the gameplay is still choppy and realme / iqoo with similar specifications perform way better. Additionally, when i disable game mode, I get better fps and less chopiness. Please fix these. Itā€™s been so many months. Not to mention the game mode optimizations donā€™t work
