With ear and ear (a), Nothing announced industry-first ChatGPT integrations in its audio and smartphone products. In addition to the pinch-to-speak to ChatGPT on its audio products, Nothing OS also announced ChatGPT integration in the Nothing OS with dedicated widgets, copy & search and screenshot to ChatGPT.

Pinch-to-speak:

With Nothing earbuds you can directly speak to ChatGPT. Just download ChatGPT app on your Nothing Phone (compatible devices list at the end of the post) and go to the NothingX app and select do you want to active ChatGPT. You can set it to “pinch and hold” in gesture settings.

Simply, then whenever you want to ask anything to ChatGPT, just pinch and hold your Nothing audio earbud and speak. ChatGPT will reply to you with audio on your buds. No need to take out your phone out of the pocket. To end the ChatGPT discussion, just pinch the earbuds once.

Widgets:

Nothing created two new widgets to directly access ChatGPT from home screen. Widgets allow three types of inputs - Text, Voice and Vision (image). First widget allows you to select any one and place it on your home screen. The other widget allows swipe up-down to toggle between the three input options. The widgets obviously are designed in Nothing brand language, seamlessly integrating in your home screen.

Clipboard to ChatGPT:

To send text directly to ChatGPT while you are not on home screen, lets say, you are reading a pdf document on your Nothing Phone and want to know more about a particular sentence. Just copy that sentence to clipboard and you will see a pop-up with “a|” icon. Just click on that icon, and you will be directly taken to ChatGPT with that text. Simply !!!

Screenshot to ChatGPT:

You can also send an image to ChatGPT. While looking at an image, just take a screenshot. The pop-up will show an icon to take the image directly to ChatGPT. Circle to search vibes, isn’t it !!!

    I have an Ear(Stick) ,and couldn’t able to enable ChatGPT after multiple time trial and removal of tbe device plus multiple time installation of Nothing X app.

    Please help me on that. I’m waiting eagerly for the information.

    To use ChatGPT integration you need an up-to-date Nothing Phone.
