TheSensibleOne I havent recieved the update yet but Im hoping I recieve it soon. I just got my nothing phone 2a last week. The battery life is good but not what I expected it to be. The battery drains alot quicker in standby mode even tho I have checked there is no app thats working that much in the background. There are cellular issues. The signals drop to zero sometimes and the network doesnt work and I then have to dial a number/call someone for it to go up back wgich is frustrating. Otherwise, the phone has delivered. I just hope the battery drain gets fixed because its not giving me a good usage time and I hope the cellular connectivity gets better as It drives me insane sometimes lol.

Brahm I think this is the second time someone told me this. Nothing already has a dirt on lens sensor which tells you in case there are some particles on the lens. Lens Flare needs to fixed via software update. Now coming back to the camera .Just look at the pictures it took post update 2.5.5.a.
This kind of camera performance is not expected from a 24K phone. Just look at the sky and the reddish hue around the street lights. Atleast the basic light control should be there.
shahbazomer3 Dont know bro. For me the network and battery have been excellent. Cant complain about that. But the camera is a big letdown.
TheSensibleOne have you also faced the issue of “hold phone steady” while clicking photos even in normal light condition? it just ruins the photo if there’s even a little movement

Brahm I faced a lot of issues with Nothing 2A camera and honestly I have realized it cant be fixed even via software updates. Nothing Phone 2A should be remembered as a great phone under 25K with a CRAPPY camera.
If people come with the argument that this kind of camera issues is the standard or normal in this price range then I wont accept it. I am not buying smartphone for the first time. I have used smartphones from multiple companies like the OGs Apple,Samsung to Nokia,Redmi. So I know what kind of pictures are expected from which price range. It is a 25k smartphone. Why should I accept pictures which look like it was taken by some 10k smartphones .Even those have better light processing.
It is not the lack of clarity or blurry images but basic image processing like light control they are messing it up that too after 4-5s of post processing time. Atleast use some algorithm to fix the image to some extent during that time like what Motorola Edge 50 Pro or Pixel phones does.
If you look close at the images I provided, they cant even make the sky black, have reddish and yellow halo like effect and what not. And forget about zooming in a bit.

The newly introduced chatgpt voice command Widget is not working for both Multiple or single use cases in Nothing phone 2a but when I am using the default Widget of chatgpt, It’s working fine. Please look into this as early as possible.

Navigation pill/bar is still there no option to hide
Giving so many updates means to fix problems indicates not tested properly before launching
After receiving the five updates small feature like hide navigation bar is not available it indicates their workers efficiency
How poor this nothing team
I really pity to take this nothing’s nothing in this they themselves saying it
Nothing is there in nothing dabba product just simply giving all useless updates
After this update my battery is draining like crazy.

Dr_RaghavendraSharma What do you mean by navigation bar? Are you implying you cant switch to gestures mode or the navigation bar is still there in gestures mode? Can you please post a screenshot if possible?
Dr_RaghavendraSharma A few things to note though. About the not testing properly, the internal team testing phones before release can only test so much. With thousands of users buying a phone, who all have different apps installed and use a phone differently than one another, they can’t test every little thing. As for the bottom gesture line, it’s is indeed a very small thing to do for them, but i imagine they use some sort of priority list where they first work on the more serious and biggest problems, like camera and overall performance issues etc.
Stringfellow_hawke As much as i agree to your claim about them working on big problems first.
I really think they should do both small and big improvements at the same time. I mean like in one update, they should not only stabilize the entire system and camera performance, they should also add some new features, especially the ones the entire community need, for example the requirements for security features, productive features, the request for "nothing gallery etc.. adding them, they can see how it turns out, and fix a bug (if any) in those features in the next update.
this will make it much for faster to progress the nothing os, in addition to stabilization, instead of stopping and stabilizing one thing in 3 consecutive updaes, and then adding something new
