Nothing Ear (2) Sound Quality Consistency Across Devices

Hey guys,

i bought the Ear (2) last year and it has been a game changer ever since! Never found such a good sound quality. However, i realized, if i use the personalised sound on iPhone or MacBook (maybe also on other devices) the sounds quality starts worsen. I hear some crisp on the background, especially when listening to acoustic genre. Luckily i bought Nothing Phone (2) and it’s back to normal, but as soon as i connect it to my MacBook, the problem is back. Do you guys have similar issue? Thanks!!

Dejland Hey!

I had the same issue and it is the same with my new Ear 2024. The solution that worked is to set the sampling rate on the android dev settings to 96 or 192khz. I also bought the bluetooth codec changer app on android so it automatically switch to 192khz when the buds are connected. No more strange noises after that 😉
