Yes, the transparency mode was improved and I agree with other users that their own voice sounds muffled, it seems to me that it is still a little lower compared to the ear 2. I hope that with another update the clarity and a little more volume will improve more.

I just updated to the latest firmware for Ear and there’s a definite improvement IMO. The sound is not as muffled and I can actually hear outside noise along with my voice. It’s not perfect and there’s still that muffling but it’s not as pronounced.

Yes it improves, but I feel that they are slightly below the ear 2. I hope they improve the transparency mode a little more in another update

Dude0815 I truly hope the ear (a) get a fix for the horrendous transparency mode. The ear (a) transparency mode is worse than the previous gen ear (2) by a significant margin. For the time being, I have to revert back to the ear (2) for the transparency mode.

What is actually taking so long to make the update available to ear (a)? It’s basically the same update. I guess it must be done in order to make the ear version feel more premium… Annoying…

I have the ear and after the update the transparency mode improved but I feel that it is below the ear 2. I hope they can improve it more because in the battery I have noticed a positive change. I have had some connection problems with a hearing aid and I hope it will be corrected soon

I look forward to experiencing the update for the ear (a) but it’s feeling like a long wait. The strangest thing is how talking to someone with ANC is more comfortable than with transparency. Talking to someone with transparency feels like I’m talking in my head and very muffled. Wish the updates for both devices would have gone out simultaneously…. Still waiting…. And still nothing….
