Using the ChatGpt app is making the processor get stuck at higher clockspeeds, draining battery and heating up the device.

I used ‘Inware’ app to monitor processor status.

Force stopping it fixes the issue but only temporarily. Once the app used again, the issue persists. Tried limiting background data usage and battery restriction to no avail.

Had the same issue with CRED app as well.

Anyone else facing this concern?

Faing the same issue here. ChatGPT app is literally draining the battery. I thought my phone was a faulty one since I got it 2 days ago, but a quick consumption check with AccuBattery shows it’s ChatGPT.

Same here! My Samsung fold 6 began overheating as soon as the new voice feature was improved a little over a week ago. I tried updating the app and some other options suggested both by Samsung and by open AI. The regular voice and advanced voice now overheat within minutes of use on my phone. Hoping for a fix soon!
