Ear (1) & Ear (2) Durability Concerns

After spending a lot of money on Nothing’s ear 1 and ear 2, I lost nearly 16,000 Rs. Then I realized I could have gotten Apple AirPods instead of having nothing to use. I used them regularly, but it’s worth noting that with regular use, the buds tend to get damaged within a year, just as the warranty expires. Then, you’ll need to buy new ones. Later, they launched the 4th generation buds from Nothing. So, my experience taught me not to buy Nothing’s products. They lack durability, focusing solely on design.

Charan_DSCR are you sure? Because I have two sets of nothing ear (2) in both white and black (because I always wanted a black version of the earpiece and they released one in black at a later stage). Had them both for almost a year and it is still working just fine. just some bugs here and there but it is working just fine. Could it be how you handle it that make it more brittle than what it should be?

Sorry to hear that you haven’t had experience as expected and to an extent I share some of the same concerns but I can assure that the team are working on improving it. I am using the 1st gen products still and when I say that I have shared concerns, I mean I have had issues with products but the team at Nothing have been really supportive about it.

From 1st gen products the action on feedback to next gen products have been instant, considering the size of the company and scale at which it is operating it is huge and we should appreciate it. We often end up comparing apples to mangoes but please understand that Nothing is still a small company and your constructive feedback will and only help the company improve and get you the experience you want. I am sure that from the image it seems more like a quality issue and your feedback would help improve the quality further on with strict quality controls and inspections in the manufacturing line.

chmnda Regarding the white and black versions, I also share the sentiment of preferring black buds, but I ended up purchasing the white ones due to their later release. Primarily, I use my buds for calls and music, so I appreciate the pinch control feature. If you utilize it frequently, you might encounter similar issues. I’m aware that I’m a rough user, but previously, I used OnePlus and Realme buds, which lasted longer. After two years, however, the audio stopped working."
