can somebody suggest some eq settings for buds for listening melodies, and also an allrounder, I find the preset eqs a little meh!

    Equalizer is imho next to useless due to reducing to only changes of bass, mids, highs.

    Please bear a potential equaliser setting of your phone music app in mind.

    I´d recommend to set the smartphones equaliser (if existent) off and the bud´s equaliser to “Electronic” and the Ultra Bass “off”.

    [deleted] I was actually quite satisfied using the CMF Buds without the Wavelet app too!It still sounded better then my Samsung Buds Pro! which literally costed 3 times more!!

    If you don’t like the direc audio equalization , u can use custom to increase the bass n treble response!!and lower the mids!(See my post image)!

    But after using the Wavelet app it sounded even better!🙌

    And for information sake ; a headset can’t sound good with any application! If it don’t have good quality drivers! Which the CMF buds offcourse has! Can’t even hear a single distortion at the full volume!💫

        Appreciate your message. That’s always a question of what you’re used to or what you usually listen with. The sound quality of Airpods has characterised me for years. And in comparison, the CMF Buds sound like I don´t wanna say… 😁

          Try this preset out for the nothing CMF buds 2, the dirac and other built in presets are pretty bad IMO. They all have too much bass and ruin the mids. This equalizer preset I made solves much of those problems. I like the default equalizer on airpods pro, so I have made it similar to it, I have dome the same for my WF 1000 XM3 and the WH 1000 XM4. Hope you guys like it!

          If the image doesn’t open the eq preset is:

          1. Ultra bass off

          2. Bass -1

          3. Mid +3

          4. Treble +3

          This topic is absolutely useless, since every person has other perception and other taste. For me, it is EQ off and ANC turn on full. Then it has deeper bass and wider scene. But this setup works for me, possibly for no-one else.. Use your ears, play your favorite song and play a bit with setting. Then play some other genre song, play a bit with settings and go back to your fav song. If satisfied, you just tuned your headphones to your liking. With Wavelet and other such apps it is a bit harder. Those I use only for cable headset for “real” flat sound (presets from Crinacle).

          Try using the Google Pixel Buds Pro Auto EQ and V Shaped Curve

          Edit: Don’t use V Shaped Curve if you’re using Pixels Buds Pro EQ. Too much of treble.

          Hey guys,

          Quick question, I’ve got the CMF buds pro 2 and I just got wavelet for them and they sound so much better with that equalizer, what setting do you recommend i use on both nothing x equalizer and wavelet such as preset as I heard the nothing ear 2 one is the best but idk.

            It’s not bad for the price, but the signature is not like the Sony Linkbuds S. However, I turned the Ultra Bass Off, Spatial Audio On, Noise Cancellation High, with a custom EQ at Bass -2, Mid 2, and Treble 2. That did the trick!
