Hey everyone! 👋

I recently got the Nothing Phone 2a, and overall, I’m loving the experience. However, I’ve run into an issue with Google AR (Augmented Reality). When I try to use AR apps or features, it doesn’t seem to work correctly. The camera view doesn’t overlay the virtual objects as expected.

Has anyone else encountered this problem? If so, how did you resolve it? Are there any specific settings or updates I need to check? I’d appreciate any insights or tips you can share!

Thanks in advance! 🙌

Nothing phone 2a isn’t officially supported by Google ARCore.

Do you think that Nothing phone 2a+ would work with AR even tho it is not officially supported.

AravindhanRavichandran Can you please tell if it shows any error like “Google Play Services for AR” (Google ARCore) missing or something like that because if not then it might be an issue with the app itself.
Becasue if it is an error with Google ARCore then I think the camera shouldn’t even open up in the first place.

I was planning on buying this phone so can anyone please confirm if ARCore is supported or not on Nothing Phone(2a)????

It works on Phone (2) - tested on Ingress Prime and some 3D scanning apps. If you want to 3D scan buy IPhone Pro or a proper 3D scanner. It’s not oficially on the list of AR Supported devices. If I were you I would buy the Phone 3a or I would wait for the Phone 3, because the 2a suffers from the green tint issue.
