Das Servicecenter bittet um einen Austausch des #MOTHERBOARD. Hallo Leute, Ich möchte einen Vorfall erzählen, der mir am 21. August 2024 passiert ist. An diesem Tag hatte ich gegen 22:30 Uhr einen Unfall. Ich habe mich an den Knien verletzt. Ich habe mein Telefon vergessen, nach einiger Zeit fand jemand mein Telefon und gab es mir. Ich habe versucht, das Telefon einzuschalten, aber es ließ sich nicht einschalten. Ich habe versucht, es aufzuladen, sobald ich aus dem Krankenhaus nach Hause kam. Selbst nachdem ich es so oft versucht hatte, hatte ich kein Glück. Ich dachte, dass es ein Problem mit dem Akku geben muss, also bestellte ich einen neuen, hatte aber immer noch kein Glück. Ich ging dann zum nächstgelegenen Servicecenter, und als ich das Telefon der Person übergab, die es überprüfen sollte, sagte der Typ, dass der Lade-IC beschädigt sei. Ich dachte, das Team könnte eine einzelne Komponente ersetzen, aber der Typ sagte, wir müssten das Motherboard austauschen, was etwa 20.000 Rupien kosten würde. Ich habe dieses Telefon letztes Jahr im April zum Preis von 31.000 Rupien gekauft. Ich würde darum bitten, dass mir jemand in diesem Fall weiterhelfen kann, da es wichtige DATEN gibt, die ich wirklich nicht verlieren möchte. Ich hoffe, ihr könnt es verstehen. Es sieht auch so aus, als ob das Glas von innen ebenfalls beschädigt ist. Ich bin mir allerdings nicht sicher. Ich würde mich wirklich freuen, wenn jemand in diesem Fall Vorschläge machen oder helfen könnte. Service Centre is asking for a replacement of #MOTHERBOARD.

Hello Folks,

I want to share an incident that happened to me on 21st August 2024. On that day around 10:30 pm, I met with an accident. I got injured around my knees. I forgot about my phone, after some time a person found my phone and gave it to me. I tried to turn ON the phone, but it was not turning ON. I tried to charge it once I got back to home from hospital. Even after trying it for so many times, I could not get any luck. I thought that there must be some issue with battery, so I ordered another one but still no luck, I then went to nearest service center, when I handed over the phone to the person to check the guy said that the charging IC is damaged. I thought the team can replace a single component, but the guy said that we need to change the motherboard which would cost around Rs.20k. I bought this phone last year in April at the price of Rs.31,000. I would request if anyone can help me out in this case as there are important DATA I genuinely do not want to lose. I hope u guys can understand. It also seems like the glass from inside is also damaged. Not sure though. I would really appreciate if anyone can suggest or help in this case. Should I seek help from @getpeid

I just read your post about your Nothing Phone (1) motherboard issue — I’m really sorry to hear about your accident, and I hope you’re recovering well.

I actually have a Nothing Phone (1) too, and recently my phone developed a green line issue on the display after a software update. So I’m currently looking to buy a device with a working display, even if it has motherboard issues.

If your phone’s display is still in good condition, would you be open to selling it to me? I can use it to replace my screen.
