Not a huge fan of the font because of its readability but I’d still like to see it in the UI just more unified way. Currently it feels like it’s just slapped in between existing Android UI which seems forced.
My suggestion would be to make it more intentional and also add the ability to replace it with other fonts please like Android sans.
The dot matrix made a huge difference for the user experience and im really sad that they might’ve removed it in NOS 13, tbh dot matrix looks much more minimal and cleaner than the regular fonts which have been added in the beta versions. Kindly please don’t remove it, or atleast give users the option to switch between the UI somehow

AmanTamang they’re following other brands footsteps. If I talked about OnePlus then observe the journey of this smartphone (upside-downside). And I think they’re following the same. Today, I get to know the features and I’m not satisfied with it. Lastly, there decision would be the last.
Nothing is different from others but now they’re killing itself.

the settings redesign looks very nice.Yea the dotted font, especially on the AOD is what makes it stand out.Just give us some more options for it and dont remove them.

Yeah I think it’s definitely a shame and it would be much better if they at least provided an option of what font you would like to use. Might already be a feature but we just haven’t seen it yet hopefully
When I had the Samsung S23, I replaced the native font totally with the nothing dot font. Even though Belarusian language also has special symbols, the result was amazing. I will sell my NP2a and CMF Phone 1 in case the team remove it small thing.
I totally refuse to get the dot font removed in the newest os update, cause most of the people who have bought the nothing phone bought them cause of the nos. There are also a few other fuetures I dislike: the boot animation being yellow and the swipe down bar being totally different. Maybe a second think trough?
I don’t think they’ll remove it, it’s currently in CBT 1 and lots of things can be changed. Be patient and see what they’re planning. You’ll get the idea what they’re cooking when they’ll release the 1st public beta.
Let’s hope for the best and hope they will cook as you said.

Sunny_mahato Yeah, don’t know why people are so worried it’s gone while the update is not really released. I think we can change fonts. At this rate, maybe the company will remove this community hahah. I don’t know how they can keep up.
Not everyone wants the dotted font, quite hard to read at a glance.
But since it’s their original thing, they should continue have it, but give an option for those who don’t want dotted.
